Based in Dallas, Texas, art advisor Jennifer Klos assists private collectors in the acquisition of fine and decorative arts, specializing in modern and contemporary art. As President of Collector House Inc., Jennifer enjoys sharing her curatorial eye, knowledge and expertise of the art world with clients in a fun and accessible manner.   During her eight-year tenure as Curator at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, she organized national and international exhibitions, expanding the presentation of decorative arts and design, and contemporary art installations. Jennifer earned her master’s degree in the history of decorative arts, design, and culture from the Bard Graduate Center in New York and her bachelor’s degree in Art History and French from Vanderbilt University. Officially launched in 2015, Joe Human founded DBH and brought his fun, playful use of pattern and neutrals to the design world. With the goal to give our clients a home they will love and admire, we are personally involved in all the decisions that go into every project and work closely with our clients to develop a space that reflects their personal taste and lifestyle.  Joe Human (yes my real name) is from rural Idaho carrying a unique attitude for Manhattan based designers, which our clients respond very well to.  With a background in architecture, Joe is able to provide a unique perspective on both full service projects and decorative projects, down to the last detail. He even adopted the slogan #detailsmatter and drives it to be the core of what we do at DBH. Jiun Ho is an interior and furnishings designer based in San Francisco. An Atlanta native, Lauren DeLoach embraces timeless Southern design with a fresh approach. Finding inspiration in architecture, antiques, and art, Lauren combines comfortable with classic to bring her updated traditional style to residences across the South. Deborah Dawson has been living her childhood dream of working as a designer for the past 13 years and is celebrated for her ode to the “Miami Look.” A native of the city and belonging to a family with three generations dedicated to the boating business, Deborah never shies away from using her Miami roots as inspiration. She is a graduate of The Atlanta College of Art and the University of Miami, and loves to use soft leathers, natural fibers, luxurious fabrics and contemporary accents that scream South Beach! Alex Kaehler grew up in Chicago, where she lives now with her husband, daughter and baby #2 on the way. After she began what she believed to be her dream career in advertising, she quickly realized design was her calling after starting a lifestyle blog in 2009. She attended a post-graduate program, at Harrington College of Design and went on to open her firm, Alexandra Kaehler Design in 2011. Alex is known for balance in her design. Brad Krefman has been a professional in the interior design field for over a decade.  After graduating from NYU and receiving a MS in Interior Architecture from Pratt Institute, Brad joined the acclaimed office of Thierry Despont.  There he was fortunate enough to work on everything from five-star international hotels to high-end residential homes. It was a formal training steeped classical proportions, fine detailing, and luxurious finishes.   After a decade in New York, Brad moved to San Francisco to head the interior design department at Backen Gillam Kroeger Architects. While at Backen Gillam and Kroeger, Brad completed numerous high-end residential projects, as well as Sonoma and Napa Valley wine-tasting rooms. Working on more rustic, relaxed environments has built on Brad’s conviction that a home must function in its environment. In 2015 Brad founded BK Interior Design with a mission to deliver the best quality and service possible.  Brad believes an interior must be an expression of his clients and his focus remains in helping clients best express their interests and personal style.  Brad’s interiors always reference context, purpose, and place. Corine Maggio founded CM Natural Designs with the desire to create a firm that designs based on the individuality of every client. She has assembled an exceptional team of highly qualified people who love their work and understand the role of design on a client’s well-being. Though her firm specializes in high end design, Corine's background uniquely positions her as one of the more approachable and down-to-earth style-makers. Growing up in a middle class Midwestern neighborhood, Corine eventually quit college and followed her dreams in early adulthood to live on the beach and moved to North Carolina. She also fed her need for discovery by traveling around the world as often as possible. During this time of self exploration, Corine lived with little-to-nothing in the way of possessions and focused her energy on an earth-friendly and adventurous lifestyle. She eventually gave in to her internal calling and moved to San Diego, California, site unseen, to pursue a degree in interior design. Corine graduated from Design Institute of San Diego with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design in 2010. Barbara Gilbert is the owner and lead designer at Barbara Gilbert Interiors, an award-winning, luxury interior design firm in Dallas, Texas. The husband-and-wife team of M. Brian Tichenor and Raun Thorp founded their namesake, multidiscipline, Los Angeles-based design practice Tichenor and Thorp in 1990. An interior designer for 30 years, Celia Barrett has been a senior designer for several leading New York City architectural firms, including GHK, IA, CRSS, and BRB. She was a Senior Store Designer for Macy’s Corporate Stores handling New Jersey and upstate New York. She began her own firm in the early 1990s in NYC. Her many years in Manhattan helped shape her design sense. Celia believes that design should be simple and timeless, yet make a statement when it is needed. She uses strong architectural detailing and a clear sense of place, proportion and color. As each space is designed, she and her team discover the uniqueness of the story behind the project. This guides her through the design process and helps her find the right setting for the people who will use the space. This applies whether it is a residence or a hotel or a 4 star restaurant. Celia holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the Auburn University College of Architecture. She continued her studies at Auburn and Parson’s School of Design in New York in both set design and antiques. She is certified by the National Council on Interior Design Qualification and is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers, the International Interior Design Association, NY Chapter of NEWH, and is a MS State Certified Interior Designer. She was also producing artistic director for The Acting Group, Inc., a professional theatre company in NYC, for six years, while continuing to work as a designer.
