This year educators at UCS implemented a hands on integrated arts block that allowed for collaborative learning (both for adults and scholars), passion driven education, professional development time for staff and a whole lot of success for scholars.

In today's episode we listen in on an annual event we call the Colloquium. At the Colloquium our newest teachers share their growth and journey through their year of learning. Professional mentors sit beside their mentees and share with a group of other educators their goals, their accomplishments and where they are heading next. It's one small example of a great way to support new teachers and encourage collaboration and growth.
