Here's a lovely conversation with our sole employee, Becca Foster, who works with us a few hours a week (sometimes much more!) and will be a fixture in our booth at our various fiber show appearances. This is a meandering, wandering, pointless talk - but it's funny, and diverting, and do you really need anything else than that from a free yarn podcast?

Our seventh podcast is with the unparalleled and very colorful Lucy Neaby. I love Lucy. One of the first knitting classes I took was with Lucy at Stitches back in 2001, and I've loved her since then! It's an extraordinary thing that I feel I can call her a friend - but she's so darned friendly that it's EASY to love her.

Our sixth podcast is with a wonderful crocheter, voice teacher, singer & designer, Dora Ohrenstein. Dora started the influential website Crochet Insider where you can find information on her patterns, classes, blog and even a video of Dora performing as a soloist with the Philip Glass ensemble!

Our fifth podcast is with amazing friend, designer, food scientist & all around great woman, Ellen SIlva. Along with her sister, Jan, Ellen is 1/2 of the Twinset Designs franchise and co-host of the Twinset Podcast. Ellen's been designing for ModeKnit yarn for a while and has created the amazingly beautiful Diana's Quiver sock and the Foam Flower sock (soon to be available at our booth and on our website) Ellen and I discuss social justice, working bodies, the joy of skipping and, of course, knitting!

Our fourth podcast is with one of my favorite designers, teachers and tech editors, Kate Atherley. Kate is SHEER delight, such a wonderful woman to sit down with and have a nice chat and a comfortable knit.

Our third podcast is a treat featuring beloved crochet designer Robyn Chachula AND inspiring double-knitting designer Alisdair Post Quinn! We didn't exactly mean to double up, and the moment when Alisdair joins our podcast is one of my favorites in our short period of recording these interviews!

Our second podcast features knitter, entrepreneur and Ravelry guide Kimberly Villareal. Kimberly started, as many of us do, as a crocheter who switched it up and added knitting to her bag of tricks.
