It's an unconventional story about the relationship between a father and son as the son is on the precipice of Hoop Dream's stardom. Beyond that, the story explores all kinds of themes of the Black culture and masterfully woven together in this Spike Lee Joint.

Today we celebrate Pride Month as we talk about this musical film playing on Netflix. We talk all about this film and how we feel about all musicals turned into films, as well as the James Corden drama surrounding the film when it came out.
