013 Green Onions
Episode in
Mondo Bass
Welcome to Mondo Bass, the podcast geared towards beginning and intermediate bassists! On today’s episode we take a look at the 1962 hit Green Onions from Booker T. & The M.G.’s. This tune features Lewie Steinberg on bass as well as Booker T. Jones on organ, Steve Cropper on guitar, and Al Jackson, Jr. on drums. This line utilizes the four fingers, four frets technique that we have been working on and is great for not only building dexterity and stamina, but for starting to learn the blues form as well. It’s an essential bass line to have in your back pocket AND to help you get in the pocket! Happy practicing!

Pop y Muerte
STAY WEIRD. Updated
