However, his friend in the accompanying group convinces him to give the baby to Madmartigan. Soon a fairy named Cherlindrea tells Willow that the baby is Elora Dana and is a very special baby that he needs to protect. She tasks him to deliver the girl to the sorceress Fin Raziel so that she may raise her. Willow continues on his journey with Madmartigan and two Brownies named Franjean and Rool. Blade Runner (1982)
Episode in
Movie House Memories’ Greatest Films
Warner Bros released Blade Runner to theaters on June 25, 1982. Ridley Scott directs the film which stars Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, and Sean Young.
‘Blade Runner’ Movie Summary
Rick Deckard is a retired cop eking out a life in a dystopian Los Angeles in 2019. He was once known as a blade runner, a special police squad, with orders to shoot to kill, upon detection, any trespassing Replicant. Replicants were declared illegal on earth, under penalty of death, after a bloody mutiny by a Nexus-6 combat team in an Off-world colony. This was not called execution. It was called retirement.
Deckard is forced back into active duty by his old boss, Bryant, to track down some of these “skin jobs” as he calls them, that tried to break into the Tyrell Corporation, the company responsible for creating these delightful androids. Led by Roy Batty, a Nexus-6 model with incredible strength and intelligence, these dangerous machines murdered several humans to get to Earth.
Deckard is flown by Gaff to meet Elden Tyrell, the genius creator of the replicants, who allegedly has a Nexus-6 model on site for Deckard to interview, but first, Tyrell wants Deckard to interview his assistant, Rachael. He want to see a negative test before he provides Deckard with a positive. During this interview, Deckard discovers that Rachel is actually a special replicant who is unaware that she is not human because of false memories that were implanted in her when she was built…

Dirty Harry (1971)
Episode in
Movie House Memories’ Greatest Films
Warner Bros. released Dirty Harry on December 23, 1971. Don Siegel directed the film which starred Clint Eastwood, Andrew Robinson, and Harry Guardino.
‘Dirty Harry’ Movie Summary
There is a psychopathic killer hunting people on the streets of San Francisco. He goes by the name of “Scorpio” and he enjoys two things: killing people and toying with the police. Scorpio begins his game with the San Francisco PD by shooting a woman with a high-powered rifle while she is swimming in a rooftop pool. SFPD brings in Inspector Harry Callahan to investigate, who immediately finds a ransom demand from “Scorpio”. The city needs to pay him $100,000 or he will kill more people. The nearly bankrupt city has no choice but to agree to the killer’s demands as a stalling tactic while the police work to secure the city and apprehend the killer.
Harry Callahan is not well liked by the police chain of command and the mayor’s office. In fact, he is generally known as “Dirty” Harry, due to his knack for getting every dirty job that comes along. During a break from his “Scorpio” investigation, Harry foils a bank robbery while eating his lunch by shooting two robbers and holding a third at gunpoint with an empty weapon. Harry is shot in the incident, but he does bluff the surviving robber in to surrendering rather than risk being shot by Harry’s 44 Magnum.
