"I think he is going to be a big star" – SIR ELTON JOHN Hailing from Sunderland, Tom A Smith is an exciting, young artist crafting infectious, unique and emotive songs. Already gaining praise from the likes of Sir Elton John, Miles Kane, NME, Radio X, BBC 6Music and BBC RADIO 1, Tom is most definitely an artist on the rise. In this episode we chat about his early music memories, his band and how they met, writing around 200 songs during Lockdown, his songwriting process and the North East music scene.  Tom has a busy Summer festival season including performances at Glastonbury Festival, recent TV appearances on Sunday Brunch and Blue Peter and his own huge solo tour in November/December.
