This episode focuses on the Rainbow Theatre in Finsbury Park which for a decade was London's most famous rock venue. Featuring an interview with former Rainbow employee Rick Burton and rare concert recordings, we discuss some of the special moments which took place in the venue and which have ensured that it is still fondly remembered today.

Music Heritage UK presents the second of our podcasts on the popular music heritage of the London borough of Islington. This episode focuses on the 'Midnight Special' gig at Screen on the Green cinema in Angel which took place in 1976. Featuring the Sex Pistols, The Clash and Buzzcocks, this historic punk gig made history and helped to kickstart the punk revolution in music. We interview cinema technician Colin Payne who was working behind the scenes on the night. The podcast also features rare 'bootleg' recordings of the show.
