If you’re involved in The Satanic Temple (TST), then you may already know about our guest, Stu De Haan. Stu appeared in the documentary movie “Hail Satan?” He was once a national council member of TST and since stepped down to focus on the legal battles that organization is waging against Christian extremism. Stu and cohost of the Naked Diner Jack Matirko just started a show on TST’s streaming service, Satan TV. Their show is called The Devil’s Dispatch. It airs once every two weeks. Here is the description of the show: “The Devil’s Dispatch is a biweekly news and talk show bringing you updates about the goings-on in The Satanic Temple and interviews with Satanists nation-wide.” Stu talks about the progress of two legal battles TST is currently waging. Howie Hawkins is a Green Party presidential candidate from New York and a former enlisted Marine. He was New York’s Green Party candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2006. In 2010, Hawkins ran as the Green Party’s candidate for Governor of New York and restored ballot status for the party by receiving more than the necessary 50,000 votes. In 2014, Hawkins ran again for the same office. He received nearly five percent of the vote and moved the Green Party to Line D on the ballot. Hawkins ran a third time for Governor of New York in 2018. He is currently seeking the presidential nomination of the Green Party in 2020.
