Over the last two weeks we have talked about Miracle on 34th Street and The Muppet Christmas Carol. This week, Christmas with nerdschatting is It's a Wonderful Life. George Bailey is a kind hearted and hardworking man, who despite having dreams to build skyscrapers and travel the world, has never escaped his small hometown of Beford Falls. Married with children, and the Executive Officer of the small Building and Loan company that helps many of the other residents of  Bedford Falls gain the help they need to buy their own homes, it appears that George has a rewarding life. However one Christmas Eve, $8000 is misplaced by George’s Uncle Billy, leaving the Building and Loan on the brink of ruin and George facing scandal and jail.
