Alcoholism and Sobriety with Daisy*

In this episode i am joined by the wonderful human that is Daisy . Daisy doesn't want her full name all over the internet and i'm respecting that. Daisy and I discuss the issue of alcoholism. A conversation that needs to happen more. I was and still am in complete awe at her openness and honesty when drawing upon such a painful experiences in her life. Experiences she now owns and uses to help others who may be struggling. She is fab, funny and five stars from me.   I hope to somehow realign and shift the way people see addiction - alcoholism in particular.  Hopefully it gives comfort to those who are struggling themselves. Please also note that I am not an expert in this area, neither is Daisy, we are only drawing from our own experiences. Just a bit of a trigger warning, we also discuss in part the issue of eating disorders, suicidal thoughts.  For anyone affected by the issues discussed in this episode, here are some helplines below:  Drinkaware: Drinkline (0300 123 1110) is a confidential helpline you can call if you're worried about your drinking. Help for adults The Beat Adult Helpline is open to anyone over 18. Parents, teachers or any concerned adults should call the adult helpline. Helpline: 0808 801 0677 Email: help@beateatingdisorders.org.uk Help for young people The Beat Youthline is open to anyone under 18. Youthline: 0808 801 0711 Email: fyp@beateatingdisorders.org.uk

Dating App Stories with Aileen Quinn (TinderTranslators)

In this episode I discuss dating with the hilarious human that is Aileen Quinn, who among many things is a playwright and the mastermind behind the Instagram account @tindertranslators . We discuss her experience with the app and how it led her to create the account that strips back the misogynistic undertones of dating app bios. This episode will have you in stitches. I hope you enjoy.

Post University Limbo (WTF am I doing?!)

*EDIT: I incorrectly name Ezra Klein as George Ezra (HAHAHA)* In this episode i discuss the post uni limbo stage of life and what contributes to the 'post university depression'. This 'no fucking clue' stage of life is universal, so i'm sure everyone will relate to this episode one way or another so i hope you find some sort of comfort from it.
