An Athlete’s Identity Crisis and an Unexpected Pregnancy | Interview with Gwyn Andrews

Growing up as a pastor’s kid and a standout athlete gave Gwyn a strong sense of identity...or at least it seemed that way. But once she left for college, the structure she’d relied on fell away, creating space for secrecy, fear, and choices she never imagined facing, including sexual compromise and the consideration of abortion. We talk candidly about the gap between cultural Christianity and genuine discipleship, the isolation that drives hidden decisions, and how easy it is to drift into serious territory without anyone noticing. Everything shifted for Gwyn when a stranger speaks a truth no one else had dared to say, confronting Gwyn’s assumptions and pushing her to reexamine responsibility, identity, and the path she was on. This conversation is honest, grounded, and shaped by grace. It’s about being interrupted by truth, choosing integrity over image, and discovering conviction when the stakes are high. Her Loss is Great, But God is Greater Pt. 2 | No Sanity Story

Anne grew up dodging addiction, chaos, and a revolving door of men who called her mother’s house home. She found rides to church, worked to keep the lights on, and learned to survive without going numb at a young age. Anne never knew her biological father until one day he showed up at Snowbird. When her father showed up, sick and short on time, she discovered how powerful it is to hear a dad say, “You matter.” After his death and her mother’s overdose, Anne faced grief without regret. Anne recounts her time hiking through the Appalachian, Pacific Crest, and Continental Divide Trails, and how the Lord used those times to grant her peace and clarity.  Now, with her husband Hunter and their kids in Marietta, Anne is building a legacy rooted in faith, presence, and everyday grace. From miscarriage to miracles, she’s proof that ordinary faithfulness can change generations. Beyond the Teaching | Diving Into The Son of Man

In this episode, Brody sits down with Rob, JB, and Zay to recap this year’s Fall Retreats at Snowbird, where the theme was The Son of Man. Together, they follow that title from Daniel’s vision to the Gospel of Mark and on to Revelation, showing how Jesus’ authority, suffering, and glory all come together in one story. You’ll hear highlights and a behind-the-scenes look at the retreats as they unpack why teaching through one Gospel brings clarity and depth. They also share a simple way to keep studying: read Mark, note every “Son of Man” reference, and connect those threads back to Daniel 7 and forward to Revelation 14. Her Loss is Great, But God is Greater | No Sanity Story

Before Snowbird had cabins or kitchens, it had creek showers, porta potties, and a small group of people committed to building something that would last. Anne (Tully) Tuttle was one of them. A quiet new believer who first came as a student, she eventually joined the staff—shaped not by hype, but by Scripture, discipleship, and people who showed up. In this episode, Anne shares what those early summers were really like. She also reflects on the 2007 accident that changed everything for the Snowbird team—and how grief, community, and worship shaped her in the years that followed. Living Out Faith in a City That Rejects It | The Story of Emily Foreman

In this episode, we sit down with Emily Foreman to hear her story-from a small town in the U.S. to a African city that calls itself 100% Muslim. Emily and her late husband, Stephen, began their mission work in prisons and giving microloans. Over time, they built strong friendships and quietly shared their faith, even though local laws made it risky and danger was growing. After militants killed tourists nearby, most aid workers left the country. But Emily and Stephen chose to stay and continue their calling. When tragedy struck, Emily responded with forgiveness that broke down fear and opened new doors. Today, their work continues through family and friends who carry on the torch of love, courage, and faithfulness. Is Forgiveness Always Required?

In this episode, Brody shares real stories from his time in ministry about conflict, forgiveness, and finding peace with God. He reflects on Psalm 133:1 — “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity” — and what it really means when unity feels out of reach. The Death of Charlie Kirk | How Should Christians Respond in a Time of Darkness?

The assassination of Charlie Kirk and the murder of a Ukrainian refugee in Charlotte have shaken many, raising urgent questions about truth, persecution, and the Christian response to growing hostility. In this episode, we reflect on Charlie Kirk’s legacy of respectful dialogue, the cost of speaking truth in today’s world, and the wisdom scripture offers in times of grief and confusion. Jesus warned that persecution would come—and history confirms it. Yet even in the face of evil, God remains sovereign. We’ll explore what it means to stand firm with conviction, to defend the vulnerable with grace, and to fix our eyes on eternity rather than fear. Mormonism vs. Christianity | Testimony From an Ex-Mormon

When Josh Haskell left Mormonism, he discovered the true God of the Bible was nothing like the one he'd grown up with. Now a Christian educator, Josh reveals how Mormonism uses Christian terms—like “Jesus,” “grace,” and “God”—but redefines them completely. He shares the moment Isaiah 6 shattered his view of God: “The God I worship isn’t holy—he’s just an exalted man.” From becoming gods to baptisms for the dead, a works-based salvation, and idolizing Joseph Smith, Josh exposes the key differences between Mormonism and true Christianity. His story is both a warning about deceptive theology and a powerful testimony of God’s truth. Defending Penal Substitutionary Atonement

In this bonus episode, Brody, Zach, Rob, and JB sit down to discuss penal substitutionary atonement. Some modern voices are reviving old critiques, calling the idea that Jesus bore God’s wrath on the cross abusive and outdated. At the Fall Be Strong Men's Conference, we’re addressing this head-on. The Snowbird team will unpack the biblical truth of penal substitutionary atonement—how Jesus willingly took our place, satisfied God’s justice, and made a way for sinners to be saved. This isn’t just theology for theologians—it’s the core of the gospel. Come join us as we stand firm for a doctrine that shows the beautiful harmony of God’s love and justice. Was My Catholic Faith Wasted?

In this episode, Brody talks with John, a young pastor who grew up in a devout Catholic family and later became a Protestant. He shares how his love for Scripture and desire for deeper discipleship led him to question tradition and explore new paths in faith. John reflects on the strengths and struggles of both Catholic and Protestant traditions, diving into topics like church authority, Bible interpretation, the teachings of Augustine, and the meaning of grace. He offers a unique perspective shaped by both worlds, showing how each tradition has contributed to his understanding of God and the Christian life. It’s a thoughtful and honest look at how tradition, theology, and personal conviction come together to shape a believer’s spiritual journey—and how Scripture continues to guide and transform lives across denominational lines. Raise the Ebenezer, Remember the Savior | Beyond the Flannelgraph

In this episode, Brody unpacks the importance of remembering God's faithfulness by looking at the story in 1 Samuel—when he raised a stone of remembrance after God delivered Israel. That moment, and the phrase “Here I raise my Ebenezer,” challenges us to mark the moments God shows up in our lives.  Brody shares personal examples, including how Snowbird’s North Campus became a reminder of God’s provision, and reads a heartfelt letter to the SWO summer staff as they wrap up a powerful summer of ministry. He also shares encouraging feedback from readers of his new book No Sanity Required. This episode is a call to reflect, remember, and keep pressing forward in faith.
