With Guelph out and the Mooseheads still alive, the boys take in the final game of the 2019 Memorial Cup and bring out an all star cast of guests

We complete the commissioner hat trick as Steve and Johnny talk with the Commissioner of the QMJHL Gilles Courteau. Meanwhile Steve is down as the Guelph Storm's amazing season comes to an end in the semi final vs the Huskies.

The round robin is complete as Steve chats with Rouyn Noranda Huskies play by play voice Jean Paul Charlebois on their historic 59 win season. Meanwhile the guys breakdown how the Huskies beat the Mooseheads yet the Mooosheads clinch the bye to the final and the Herdcast boys are pumped.

Its day 5 of the Memorial Cup and Steve chats with Guelph Storm play by play announcer Larry Mellott who returns to the show for the first time since our second ever episode. Also we get to talk to one of our voice over guys Kevin Battaro who is located here in Halifax! Meanwhile the guys breakdown Guelph's 5-2 win over Prince Albert which has eliminated the Raiders and making the WHL Champs 0-3 for the 4th straight season.

Steve chats with Terry Doyle about his role in the OHL outside of his play by play gig with the Sarnia Sting as well as his numerous Memorial Cup memories and how the tournament has shaped up so far. Meanwhile back at the house Steve and the boys discuss the Huskies 6-3 win over the Prince Albert Raiders who are now on the brink of elimination.

It's day three of the Memorial Cup as The Herdcast boys have bragging rights with the Mooseheads taking a 4-2 win over Guelph. The boys discuss the game, booing Noah Dobson and the annual Fan Breakfast before being joined by some of Halifax's elite media personnel.

Day 2 of the Memorial Cup has the boys talk with the play by play voice of the Halifax Mooseheads Garreth MacDonald as he lets us know who exactly has the juice for the Moose. Meanwhile the Guelph Storm win their opener over the Rouyn Noranda Huskies 5-2 and Steve is pretty excited about it. The Herdcast boys are indifferent.

The Memorial Cup is here! Steve is joined by the host Herdcast boys Johnny and Jordon as the Mooseheads take the first game 4-1 over the Prince Albert Raiders. Also Steve talks with the Raiders radio duo of Trevor Redden and Martin Ring.

The OHL Championship Series is finally set as the 12-0 Ottawa 67's will take on the multiple comeback Guelph Storm which has Steve happy as the guys talk after Game 7 in Saginaw. Meanwhile Steve chats with Saginaw Spirit play by play voice Joey Battaino as he reflects on the best season to date for the Spirit.

This week Aaron Bell one of the filmmakers behind Charging Bulls the documentary of the 1999 OHL Champion Belleville Bulls is here to discuss the film and the film company he and his wife have created. Meanwhile the guys went to Saginaw this past week and had an interesting trip as Ottawa continues to dominate the east.

GUELPH CAME BACK, THE REVERSE SWEEP! STEVE CAN'T BREATHE!!!! When Steve finally catches his breath he chats with the play by play voice of the Ottawa 67's AJ Jakubec as he previews the Eastern Conference Final between Ottawa and Oshawa. Brian lets Steve have free reign in his celebration of Guelph's reverse sweep of London.

THIS WEEK! -boy these second round games have been just as amazing as advertised, yes? -what the hell happened to the Soo? -Steve can't even find the strength to get upset about Guelph being on the verge of getting swept -Brian issues an ultimatum to the Spitfires ownership -oh right the league is getting sued Fortunately, friend of the podcast Tony Saxon is here to talk about Guelph and what's new with one of the best photojournalists in the league.

The OHL Priority Selection is upon us this weekend so Steve talks with scout Ryan McArthur to get all the info on who to look out for in this years draft. Also the guys wrap up a dull first round but are excited about what the second round may bring as they make their picks.

This week Brian takes over the interviewing duties as he talks with Spitfires radio tandem Steve Bell and Manny Paiva as they took over from Mike Miller mid season after his sudden retirement. Also Brian and Steve talk about the first weekend of playoffs as all series finish their first three games, spoiler alert there really aren't many surprises.

The playoffs are finally here! This week Steve chats with the communications manager for the Ottawa 67's Chris Hofley as he and Steve discuss a franchise year for Ottawa and the fans returning to Lansdowne. Meanwhile Brian and Steve give their predictions on the first round and say who they think will meet in the OHL Final. Plus Brian found a jersey he thought he would never get his hands on.

This week on the show the Oshawa Generals play by play announcer Callum Ng gives his insight on the Gennies and the league heading into the playoffs. Meanwhile Brian wants the Spits to get a higher draft pick and is sick of seeing them get beat by London in the playoffs. Meanwhile Saginaw is having their best season ever as they close in on a division title and will we get the elusive Game 69?

Note: both Brian and Steve dealt with some family emergencies this week, so you get what you get. Steve and Keith talk for like an hour, then Steve interviews freelancer Victor Findlay about his various gigs. Sorry for the lack of a usual description. We'll be back next week in full force hopefully
