OHM AIR

Believe it or not, Mr. Meme is on OHM AIR today, chatting up his site, http://headpie.blogspot.jp and the incredible community he and King Rudi have made: Head-Pie: https://www.facebook.com/groups/headpie/ The meat of the show (if you can call it such) is a meme toss salad, the touching story of how Damon (not Matt) and Nathan (not DoGG), met. Today's beat is again supplied by PresidentWu. Many thanks, Wu. It is called AYo. Shoutout to Atheism is Unstoppable's constantly updated, and often insightful YouTube channel (from which I lifted the intro seconds to this podcast): You can find his work here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg6MuFVugHwWCp1YDQDAy1w, especially his takedowns of regressive reactions to the recent Orlando shooting. In poring through incoming traffic to ohm-image.net, I discovered a nugget from Super Best Audio Friends, denigrating an RMAA article I wrote about the Sony NW-ZX2. Certainly on point in points, I nodded my head to some of what Marvey (staff at the forum) said, but in large part, it read like a person whose religion had just been kicked. Too bad. Which reminded me of an earlier mano-a-mano I had with one of Head-fi.org's most vociferous complainers: Macedonian Hero. Hilarity ensues. *Note: This episode was recorded in the main on June 09, hence the intro. Mistakenly I thought it was episode 29. A-p-p-p-ologies. A few things are different this time around, including an intro, whose beats were composed by my mate, and fellow Canadian-in-Japan, PresidentWu. The Darth Vader-ish text was ineptly rapped by me, and as it's nigh unintelligible, its lyrics will show up at http://ohm-image.net. Please check out President Wu's beats, freestyle, and otherwise creative genius: https://soundcloud.com/thewuempire On the chopping block this week are Facebook page like requests, this time from one of the audio world's greatest chameleons: Michael Mercer. And the reasons I will not 'like' your page are detailed in this episode. If any of you are thinking of opening up an audio-themed Facebook page, this episode _may_ be helpful to you. It may just be fun listening to me try to rap. Relevant links: 1. Headsonix: http://headsonix.com/ 2. Lachlan and I like Spotify, ? Music, consumer responsibility, quiet trains and more in episode 25 of OHM AIR. Yes, it's been months since the last release and yes, that delay comes with the profusest of apologies. But OHM AIR is back, and with the man whose early contributions and apolitical effrontery made it all possible. NOTE: connection issues plagued this episode. Cut offs, high compression rates, etc., seem to be a staple. I'll try to fix them. Relevant Links: 1. ? Music https://www.apple.com/music/ 2.
