Overcoming Fear

As we live our life, it seems like there is more responsibility and more going on in our world than ever before. And because of this, we can start feeling constantly worried and weighed down. What would it feel like to go back to living with the faith of a child? Join me as we talk about gaining back our freedom.

Often we walk through life, trying to find the answer to finally be set free from whatever struggle we may be going through, when the reality is, we have already been set free. Now it’s just about realizing it and believing it. Join me in learning how the Gospel, what Jesus did for us, sets us free from fear, anxiety and all forms of insecurity.

So we saw how one generation missed out on their destiny because of fear in part 1. Today we get to see the next generation put in the same situation but not give in to fear. The result of these actions couldn’t have been any more different!

We have a choice to make: are we going to let the enemy come along a steal that destiny or are we going to stand up against the hurdles and do what God created us to do? But do we ever consider the quality of the media we use and the emotional and spiritual effect on our lives? We are called to walk in strength and courage IN SPITE OF FEAR. Why? Because He is faithful to be with us at all times and fight on our behalf. Sometimes we think we have to be absent of all fear before we take the next step. Where my practical people at? Today we dive into the practical steps into renewing your mind. Listen to the episode and use the steps below to make your thought align with God’s thoughts! 1.) Repent for making agreement with the lies of the enemy. 2.) Forgive those that have hurt you and may be influencing your heart and mind (This could include forgiving yourself). 3.) Find a few Bible verses relating to this mindset that you have. 4.) Read and declare those Bible verses out loud! (Do this throughout your day) 5.) Pray and ask that the Holy Spirit would help you in renewing your mind.
