What's Love Got to Do with It?

Episode in Perk Up
Many spiritual teachers have shared that there are only two emotions love and fear and all other emotions are a subset of these two emotions.  If we were to apply this concept to the presidential election then we can consider that this election was about bringing fear out of the shadow and into the Light of day.  And that is a good thing!  Why?  Because we cannot transform fear into love until we see it, accept it without judgement and figure out a transformation plan.  Join Eaglemoon Raes and Robin Clare for a conversation about what love has to do with all of this, in spite of all the fear and chaos that we are focusing our attention on.    Known as the Spiritual MBA, Robin Clare brings Clare-ity, Alignment and TRUE Success to her client’s lives by merging her extensive business expertise with access to universal wisdom.Robin is a channel for the Ascended Masters, an advanced Akashic Record Reader and a highly regarded spiritual teacher. She is the author of Messiah Within and two upcoming books, Divinely Guided Living and Being of Service.  Robin is a creative and inspiring speaker. Words of Wisdom from Long Island University Assistant Baseball Coach Matt Grosso

Episode in Perk Up
As a Sports Mom how can we best support our blossoming athlete?  Matt Grosso will share some words of wisdom gained from years of playing ball as a kid, as a teen, as a college student, as a professional, and finally as an assistant coach.   What sideline behavior drives kids crazy?  What not to say after a loss?  How can we strive for their big goals without imposing limitations, or jumping off when the going gets tough?   Kids play for the love of the game....lets cheer from the sidelines with all our hearts!   A peek into Matt's career so far ~ After playing baseball for RHAM High School in Hebron CT,  Matt Grosso played collegiate baseball at the University of Notre Dame, where he was a three-time monogram recipient as an outfielder. While playing for the Fighting Irish, he was also a four-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team.   Grosso was named to All-Star teams in both the New England Collegiate Baseball League and the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League. He also spent one summer playing for the Falmouth Commodores in the Cape Cod Baseball League.  After graduating from Notre Dame in 2011 with a degree in psychology, he spent three years playing professional baseball in the California Winter League and the Frontier League, where he played for the Windy City Thunderbolts and the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He also serves as the head coach of the 16u AAU team, the Connecticut Bombers.  Grosso graduated from Northeastern with a master’s degree in Sports Leadership in 2014, and is currently pursuing his MBA at LIU Brooklyn.

Cut it Out! The Epidemic of Cesarian Sections

Episode in Perk Up
Join me for a rich bold jazzy converstion with Theresa Morris, author of Cut It Out: the C-Section Epidemic in America.  Professor Morris' primary areas of specialization are Organizational Theory, Sociology of Reproduction and Birth, Political Sociology, and Sex and Gender.  Theresa challenges most existing explanations of the unprecedented rise in c-section rates, which locate the cause of this trend in physicians practicing defensive medicine, women choosing c-sections for scheduling reasons, or women’s poor health and older ages. Morris’s explanation of the c-section epidemic is more complicated, taking into account the power and structure of legal, political, medical, and professional organizations; gendered ideas that devalue women; hospital organizational structures and protocols; and professional standards in the medical and insurance communities. She argues that there is a new culture within medicine that avoids risk or unpredictable outcomes and instead embraces planning and conservative choices, all in an effort to have perfect births. Based on 130 in-depth interviews with women who had just given birth, obstetricians, midwives, and labor and delivery nurses, as well as a careful examination of local and national level c-section rates, Cut It Out provides a comprehensive, riveting look at a little-known epidemic that greatly affects the lives, health, and families of each and every woman in America.

Lauralee Green - Channels Clarissa from the Pleiades

Episode in Perk Up
Lauralee Green began channeling in 1990. She was practicing meditation and intuitive message work when a warm unconditional loving being entered her energy field and began to speak through her with a different speech pattern and unique tone of voice. Lauralee will introduce us to the wisdom of Clarissa. Clarissa is from the Pleiades, a conspicuous cluster of stars in the constellation Taurus that includes six stars in the form of a very small dipper. Greek mythology describes the Pleiades as the seven daughters of Atlas turned into a group of stars. Clarissa enjoys offering a group message, through Lauralee, to enlighten those present with a particular message. Suggestions of what you'd like Clarissa to discuss will be obtained at the beginning of the channeling session and intertwined in the message. There will be opportunity to ask personal questions. This month Clarissa would like to discuss this ever changing world and how to live in it. Life can be challenging enough without freak thunderstorms, earthquakes or extreme heat with no sight of this ending. She will also discuss why our planet is changing so greatly and how one copes with the emotional upheaval this brings. As a spiritual teacher, psychic, healer, author, and lecturer, over the last 25 years, Lauralee has helped thousands with her psychic ability. Her first book "How to Develop Your Psychic Senses" is due out this year.

Perk Up with Terry Damlos - The Chidlren are Todays Teachers

Episode in Perk Up
Lets have a rich bold jazzy conversation with Terry Damlos on new ways of educating our youth today. She has been involved in education for twenty years;  as a high school counselor, teacher, and a mother of four children who have each had their individual experiences in the public school system.  As an educator in the public school system she witnessed an increasing need to teach/guide children in a new way. As the number of "out of the box" children increased Terry experienced the dichotomy of allowing children to learn in individual ways and nurturing all aspects of the child as the public system stressed uniformity and testing.   Terry's children as well as the children she was teaching asked her to create with them a New Education.  Tune in to learn more!  Please feel free to call in with your questions!

Perk Up with Patrice Gildner - Channel of Master Kuthumi

Episode in Perk Up
Over 20 years ago, Patrice Gildner kept hearing the word ‘kuthumi’ in her head. She did not know what the word meant and sought the advice of a gifted psychic (Sally Seibert) who told her that Kuthumi was one of a group of highly evolved beings (known as Masters or Ascended Masters) who work to promote the spiritual advancement of mankind through love and wisdom. They come to us as Elder Brothers to help guide those who are willing to open their heart to the Truth of their own Divine nature and to be of service to humanity.  Patrice learned how to access the state of neutral receptivity that enables her to act as a reliable conduit for messages from nonphysical teachers without employing the technique of ‘trance channeling,’ which many believe to have inherent risks.  What does it mean to be a channel? Have you or your child had experiences beyond the usual senses? Patrice will channel Master Kuthumi at the end of the show, call-ins are welcomed or IM.

Perk Up with Karin Nemri ~ Near Death Experience

Episode in Perk Up
Join me for a rich bold jazzy conversation with Karin Nemri on eating disorders, her NDE and why she returned to her body.    Karin had a near death experience in 1971 when she was 15. This life-defining event not only led her to the healing path she is on today, but gave her an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the spiritual realm and gain an understanding of many other planes of reality and of the beings who function within them. After experiencing an involvement and knowledge of God, that she had not known before, her complete faith and trust grew strong, allowing her to heal from the bulimia and anorexia that caused her heart to stop in the first place. Then she discovered that she had become gifted in a special way; allowing her to “team up” with Spirit and give people a concrete way to have a “spiritual understanding of healing”.

Perk up and heal.....

Episode in Perk Up
This episode is about healing, connecting with the heart.  As a "Journey Woman" I have the privilege of bringing people around the Universe using a Merkabah (combining our energy bodies)  sorta like Miss Frizzle in the Magic School Bus series. Recently, I discovered a new place - a powerful healing place and the world of the Mer People....yes, as in mermaid and merman.  I know, sounds odd right? The first time, I encountered the Mer People,  during a live group journey, I didn't want to acknowlege them out of fear of ridicule.  I did finally make their presence known.   One of the participants was deeply connected to the Mer People and they came for her, as a way of reminding her of who she is, and her childhood connection with them.   The Mer People are so full of love.  Where does the concept of Mer People come from....if we have knowledge of them....doesn't that mean they must exist? Tune in and feel for your self.
