Es un CD+DVD grabado en directo los días 28 y 29 de abril de este año en el mítico escenario de Buenos Aires (Argentina), con 30 canciones en el DVD, 14 en el CD y un making of con entrevistas a Serrat y Sabina y a los músicos de la gira. Es el concierto completo de 170 minutos de duración de la gira Dos pájaros contraatacan, que desde el 5 de marzo al 16 de diciembre de 2012 recorre toda Latinoamérica, España y Estados Unidos con un total de 80 conciertos a los que asistirán más de 550.000 espectadores. Dentro de esta gira, Serrat & Sabina han ofrecido nada menos que 18 conciertos en el Luna Park, a los que asistieron más de 200.000 espectadores. Inaugurado en 1934, situado en el corazón de Buenos Aires y declarado Monumento Histórico Nacional en 2007, por el Luna Park han pasado todos los grandes artistas del último siglo, siendo además testigo de acontecimientos populares como la boda de Diego Armando Maradona en 1989 o el funeral de Carlos Gardel en 1935. Live at River Plate es el último BLUE RAY en vivo de AC/DC, que documenta el Black Ice World Tour. Este nuevo material contiene imágenes de los tres conciertos brindados en diciembre de 2009 en el Estadio River Plate en Buenos Aires, Argentina.1 Cuenta con la dirección de David Mallet y Rocky Oldham como productor.1 Para la grabación se utilizaron 32 cámaras HD. La compañía On Sight fue la responsable de la filmación, y la producción por parte del laboratorio HD Serpent Productions.1 El DVD debutó en el primer lugar de las listas en 17 países diferentes, incluyendo: Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, Alemania, Francia, España, Australia, Argentina, Canadá, Irlanda, Bélgica, Nueva Zelanda, Suecia, Austria, Chile, Hungría, Finlandia e Italia.2
