P-Town Willie interviews Adrien Parker of the Glasshouse Record store and lead vocalist of Phaxanation & The Dust Kickers. Adrien was born and raised in Pomona and has been involved in the downtown music scene for many years.

Pomona Proud Studios presents “P-Town Willie Keeps You Informed” a weekly podcast series hosted by Willie Campos a.k.a. P-Town Willie. This week’s guest is John Brantingham, Mt. SAC English professor and host of The “Da Shut Up & Write Club”. “The dA Shut Up and Write” is a club for writers needing a quiet space to focus on their work. If this is you, and you don’t mind sitting with a bunch of like-minded individuals, then read on. The club meets every weekday at the dA Center for the Arts in the Pomona Arts District from 9:00am to 12:00pm.It’s free and open to everyone. We have coffee and tea and sometimes someone brings a bunch of cookies etc. to share. There is a parking lot across the road that provides the first 3 hours free, but be sure to get a ticket from the machine and put it on your dash.
