Consiguieron mucho éxito en el Reino Unido y en otros países con canciones como Relax, cuya letra aludía explícitamente a la homosexualidad, Two Tribes, la balada The Power of Love y Welcome to the Pleasuredome. Su formación incluía a Holly Johnson (previamente bajista de Big In Japan) y Paul Rutherford (años antes cantante de The Spitfire Boys) como vocalistas, Mark O'Toole y Brian Nash, respectivamente, al bajo y a la guitarra, y Peter Gill a la batería. Ultravox es una banda de new wave inglesa surgida en 1976 que con el paso del tiempo fue cambiando de estilos musicales (glam rock, proto-punk, synthpop, industrial, pop), hasta su separación definitiva en 1996. En 2009, la clásica alineación de la banda en la década de 1980, se reunió para hacer una gira por Reino Unido y otra por Europa.

Go West, es un dúo de Pop británico, formado en 1982 por el vocalista Peter Cox (nacido el 17 de noviembre de 1955, Kingston, Surrey, Reino Unido), y el guitarrista y vocalista Richard Drummie (nacido el 20 de marzo de 1959, Twickenham Stadium, Middlesex, Reino Unido).
