There are some follow-up stories to events that were discussed on previous shows, including what came of the ban on DayZ in Australia and the aftermath of the Respawn mess on Reddit. In the news this episode, we had a few leads jumping ship from big developers to pursue other opportunities as well as an apology from Twitch to Ninja. There are also changes planned for DayZ to make sure it can be released in Australia and there was a bit of a kerfuffle on Reddit surrounding Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment. Hunter, Kyle, and Marc dig into it with some deep discussions about market exclusivity and the days of old school gaming.

It's a heavy-news kind of episode as Melissa, Hunter, and Marc talk about Walmart's move to limit violent displays in-store, Nexon's decision to close down two offices in California, and the messy break-up between Ninja and Twitch. The Ooblets developers are also facing their own abuse at the hands of upset consumers.

Nate Hales and Aenne Schumann join the Press Pass team for a good ol' Press2Reset family reunion to celebrate Press Pass's 200th episode and also unofficially record the 200th Transmission for Reset Transmission. The team gets into P2R's origin stories and the changes in their lives since it all started eight years ago.

E3 is in the air, so Kyle and Marc made sure to get all the old news out of the way in this episode. First up is a patent from Microsoft geared towards vision-impaired players followed by a partnership between Microsoft and Sony. Next, Dauntless is the first title to launch with full cross-platform support and Sony has opened the doors for PS5 features. There's plenty of new stuff to talk about after a few weeks off, but the crew narrows it down to a few agenda items. First, Minecraft has released a new update to improve its town life, and Respawn announced Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order! The UK government has focused in on Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft over their online storefronts and Epic is holding its exclusives hostage until Steam rethinks its revenue sharing. In a new feature, the crew talks about upcoming psychological mystery Draugen coming out in May.

Press Pass 194 has the crew talking about Google's foray into game streaming as well as Apple's plans for Apple Arcade. Nintendo has news about new Switch consoles and Mel has the skinny on Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2! Stay tuned for the lighter side and keep an ear out for Robo-Marc!

There's a sequel coming out to oft-streamed Darkest Dungeon as well as news on the next Pokemon release! On the tougher side of the news, Nintendo of America is changing leadership and ArenaNET is axing jobs. It's a good thing we have a pair of stories for the lighter side!

With Nintendo's first Direct of the year, there's plenty to discuss, but first the crew talks about the Blizzard update, Ubisoft's good news, and Fortnite's account merging conditions.

Final Fantasy XIV is receiving a new expansion this year. Shadowbringers will introduce pixies, the Gunbreaker job, and plenty more. There's also a new battle royale out there, courtesy of Respawn Entertainment. Kyle and Hunter think it's pretty great along with over 10 million other people. Xbox Live is apparently coming to Nintendo, iOS, and Android, and there are reports that Activision is looking at serious layoffs (since confirmed). Hunter's return marks an episode full of cancellation news to discuss and the ever-expanding beast of Epic Games. There's also a new esport arriving with the morning sun that's eyeing the fertile grounds of Europe. Maybe it can plant a new seed and see what grows!
