El Faro del JAZZ
El faro del JAZZ quiere acercar esta música a todo el mundo. Que se le pierda el miedo es su propósito inicial.
Uno de los estilos musicales más ricos, con más de un siglo ya de historia, e injustamente olvidado casi siempre en los medios, sobre todo los de nuestro país.
Siguiendo con el espíritu de todos los programas de Subterranea Radio, lo importante va a ser, además de la música, que todo resulte muy sencillo y entretenido, intentando alejarnos de un lenguaje excesivamente culto y aburrido que suele estar asociado a los críticos de jazz tradicionales.
Queremos que el jazz se entienda pero, sobre todo, que se disfrute.
Los contenidos de los diferentes programas serán muy variados, intentando abarcar todas las épocas y sub-estilos: los inicios del jazz, el blues, el swing, el bop, el cool, el hard bop, el free, el jazz rock y, en definitiva, cualquier forma de entender la música a través de swing y la improvisación, en cualquier contexto o cultura.
El responsable del faro, o sea el farero encargado de manejar la maquinaria, va a ser el músico almeriense Ramón García, aunque intentará que su singladura no sea siempre en solitario, por lo que puede que de vez en cuando aparezcan músicos para ser entrevistados o algunos miembros de Subterranea que también tengan corazoncito jazzistico.
