How Does That Make You Feel? (Feat. Donika Brown)
Episode in
Queens Table Talk
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we are checking in on our own mental health with Marriage and Family Therapist, Donika Brown. Oftentimes, therapy is not something that is encouraged in the Black community for various reasons, such as affordability and the fear of airing out our “dirty laundry”. However, Donika is giving us a deeper look into therapy by discussing how one can afford it, what questions to ask and how it can be used a tool to help cope with hurt and trauma.
But first, we are tipping our crowns to some Queens that are inspiring us this week :

Cancel Culture
Episode in
Queens Table Talk
To cancel or not to cancel? That is the question...
This week while Lovely Liyah is out, Mo Knows Best and Aye Effie are holding it down with an intriguing conversation about Cancel Culture.
Who is on your canceled list?
Whenever we stumble across news that a celebrity or company has said or done something controversial, the new universal response is to "cancel" them! Cancel culture has become the new protest against those whose values do not aligned with ours, but does "canceling" someone really have a lasting effect? We're going to get into it....
But first, this week we are tipping our crown to some beautiful Queens that have inspired us this week: Lizzo and Dr. Gladys West
