In the Ambience of the Qur’an (Part Three) – Shaykh Faid Mohammed Said

In this podcast Shaykh Faid teaches us the importance of conveying humility within us by giving the example of Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him), one of the greatest Imams of this Umma. Haroon Al-Rashid, the Caliph at the time, came to Imam Malik to seek knowledge and desired to have a special time with the Imam. When he came to his house Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said ”The ilm (knowledge), if it was to be prevented from the public, the elite would never benefit from that knowledge.” Also in this segment Shaykh Faid touches upon the life of the beautiful companion of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) Sayyidina Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him), as well as the other companions (may Allah be pleased with them all).   For more SeekersHub podcasts and podcast shows, visit seekershub.org/podcast. In the Ambience of the Qur’an (Part One) – Shaykh Faid Mohammed Said

Shaykh Faid Mohammed Said begins this episode by explaining who are the people of the Qur’an, and how it is from prophetic teaching to listen to and recite the Qur’an. When one reads the Qur’an they will come to know the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him). The ummah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the only ummah that can say they are reading the words of Allah Most High as Allah has promised to preserve the Qur’an. Of the best of calls in the Qur’an is “ O you who believe.” Why is it important? Every word of Allah comes with wisdom. Shaykh Faid then explains what it means to walk on earth humbly, and what it means that humankind was created weak. For more SeekersHub podcasts and podcast shows, visit seekershub.org/podcast.
