We are super thankful to be on this journey that we call life. It has taken us to many countries and we have been on some incredible adventures. While gallivanting the globe we have met some incredible and some inspirational people and we have been left in awe. Each one of the guests is unique in their own away and they have a beautiful story, and one we want to share with our listeners. They are all leaving their mark on the world in their on way and we think they have a few gems that will help our listeners. We hope for you to be inspired by all of these incredible individuals just like they have inspired us.

The topics we discuss will be highly relevant/taboo but we feel like these are conversations that young Kings and Queens want to hear. This podcast is all about growth. Making you better, and making us better. Challenging you to do more but also showing you that it can be done

Episode 7: Going Deeper

Based on the feedback on the “Exploring the Mental Health” we decided to delve deeper into some our struggles. Discussing mental health is one thing but to be fully transparent we went out an active role in seeking help and this is a conversation where we share our experiences with you. Therapy is something that is so taboo so we discuss that, and how that process impacted us both positively and some of the negative takeaways we had.

Exploring Mental Health

For so long the discussion of mental health has become a taboo subject in our pseudo-African culture. Discussing feelings is something that has always happened behind closed doors. In this episode, we aim to break down that stigma and bring this discussion to the forefront.

More of Tings and Things View more
Tings and Things Tings and Things is hosted by Jonathan Mbaya and Simba Tsumba, two lifelong friends. Our Podcast transcends borders and strips away all the filters from the perfectly edited and curated lives we have become accustomed to online. As a duo, we manage to open up a platform to have real conversations that touch upon what it means to live and learn, alongside occasional guest appearances from some of the most dynamic people across industries and our Tings & Things family. We found that through our travel and adventures, our struggles as young adults were not unique to us. Tings and Things was designed to share those experiences since those were not being discussed by traditional media outlets, and alongside our back and forth banter and undeniable chemistry, we have found the perfect formula to exhibit the everyday stories of life in an everyday conversational way.
