I have been reading this book by Robin Norwood, and honestly guys it has given me a lot of insights on how men perceive love and relationships and how women perceive the same too. Honestly, we can achieve anything as long as we decide to embrace change; break the cycle. Been trying to understand why things kept repeating itself only to realise that am also playing the part of not wanting something new to happen to me, kept blaming people and asking myself, "Why?" Why they did what they did. And actually the question I should have been asking myself is, "When?" When did it all start?

Rejection in a relationship hurts, mostly after your partner meets your family and realises how messed up your family is and decides he/she is not going to continue with you anymore. But what hurts is your partner not talking about his/her thoughts after meeting your family, but instead goes about telling his/her friends, and even saying mean and hurting things to them about your family.

This is quite an interesting story, I have never felt so stupid😹 . And sometimes when I think about it I feel like slapping myself hard, but oh well, at least it taught me to be more careful.
