046 – Writing Effectively with Jeff Goins
Jeff Goins from goinswriter.com shares what it takes to not just be a writer or some who put words on the web, but how to be an effective writer.
The reason I invited him on the show is because his writings are extremely effective and have moved me and I study copywriting and blogging etc. So I thought it would be great and “effective” to have Jeff on the show to share with us how he does it.
Jeff writings are great, but he teaches us the how to’s which most great writers don’t do. This was a great interview jam packed with great how to’s and wisdom to take your writing and business to the next level.

The In-Between
We’re an “instant gratification” generation, but the trouble is, most change happens gradually.
Most of us spend our lives searching and longing for something more than what’s in front of us.
Whether it’s traveling abroad or chasing cheap (or expensive) thrills, we’re all looking for something to satisfy our restlessness. And, so often, we’re looking in the wrong place.
In The In-Between, Jeff Goins calls us to accept the importance waiting plays in our lives and to embrace the lessons it has to offer.
Wrecked -
Wrecked is a book about the life we’re afraid to live—one full of radical sacrifice and selfless service. It’s a look at how we discover fulfillment in the least likely of places.
This is a guide to growing up and learning to live in the tension between the next adventure and our daily commitments.

045- This Is Your Life
Life isn’t always a smooth ride. At least it hasn’t been for me. We all make mistakes and have things happen that we were not expecting or didn’t want to happen. However, we need to continue to pick ourselves up and keep going. That’s what success looks likes.
Success doesn’t go to the person who doesn’t fall down; Success goes to the person who won’t stay down!

040- Selling Is Not a Dirty Word
In many discussions I have with people on how to take their sales and their business to the next level, I find that they have a negative connotation towards selling.
They tell me they:
Don’t want to take advantage of someone
Don’t want to rip someone off
Don’t want to push something of someone
Don’t want to be one of those people
Here’s my advice: Don’t! A great sales person does not do any of those things.
Selling is finding someone who has a need or want for a product or service, helping them identify and quantify their need/want and leading them to the solution.
Listen in to this episode as I share this and other examples that will take your sales mindset & skills to the next level.
