The Bible clearly tells us that when we say “Yes” to Jesus we are a new creation.  But what does that even mean?  Are we really ‘dead’ to sin? (yes!)  Or are we still sinners? (no!)  Are we holy? (yes!)  Can we truly be free? (yes!)  Many Christians still struggle to believe the good news could be so good.  But Jesus’s work on the cross accomplished something incredibly transformative in us and we need to stop identifying with the man or woman that died in the baptismal.  God has spoken a new identity over us!  This week we’re talking about responding to the new identity declaration Christ has given you.

Tozer says “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”  We couldn’t agree more!  Our view of God determines how we treat those around us, so if we want to love our families well we’ve got to start with our relationship with God.  This week we’re talking about what the goodness of God means, why we can say, “God is in a good mood” and how you can feel more at rest in your relationship with God.
