History of robot The first robot was the unimate created in new jersey at nineteen fifty-three by George Devol and Joseph Engelberger. 2. Definition of robotics the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots. 3. Difference between machine and robot A Machine is a device that can make repeatedly motions or tasks and the Robot is a smart device that can do all that the machine do and more, also can be reprogramed to do another different task. 4.
