12. This is not cave diving...: The Descent

In this episode Chris and Christin are joined by a very special guest! The Harbinger of Joy herself, stand up comic Jenn Snyder. Jenn talks about her first scary movie her brother snuck her into, writing letters to Freddy Kruger and then we discuss her favorite horror flick, The Descent. Big questions are asked. Such as, “Did the girls have brunch?” “Who is the hottest?” and “Is The Descent a metaphor for the unsaid feelings and lies that have plagued the group of friends the last year?” Also, there wasn't going to be a true crime, but Christin can't help herself so she warns of how scary the Appalachian trail is! Stay out of crevasses and listen to this episode instead! Theme song by Gabbie Watts Follow her on Instagram @gabbierotts  Follow us! 11. Cluck!: Hereditary

Hail Paimon! After much teasing, Christin and Chris finally discuss Hereditary, the scariest movie of 2018! Probing questions include 1) What is the plot of Hereditary? 2) What are primary colors? (Chris only) and 3) Gabriel Byrne? Your hosts then award all 2019 Academy Awards to Toni Collette. Finally, Christin terrifies Chris with a true story of sleepwalking gone wrong in the trial against Joseph Mitchell from 2010. It may go without saying, but listeners be warned, this is a disturbing movie and Christin brings up some disturbing true cases that the movie made her think of.  Theme song by Gabbie Watts follow Gabbie on Instagram on @gabbierotts   Follow us!   Twitter: @sometimesdead4 Instagram: @sometimesdeadpodcast email: sometimesdeadpodcast@gmail.com   Music: Carnival of Tears 2: Into the Light by Matt Oakly http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Matt_Oakley/Horror_Soundtrack_1/Carnival_of_Tears_2_-_Into_The_Light Parade by Nctrnm http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Nctrnm/Parade_-_Single/NctrnmParade66Em Sources:    http://listverse.com/2018/03/31/10-dark-facts-about-the-vampire-cult-killer-rod-ferrell/ http://www.viralnova.com/rod-ferrell/

7. Why would anyone donate to a bed and breakfast, Graeme?: Housebound

In this episode Christin has a guest co-host, her husband Brian! Brian does not like horror or true crime, but Christin is on a mission to convert him. She chose a movie she thinks he will like and maybe begin the slow fall into loving horror.  They talk about how they differ on their feelings of horror, Brian's scary sleep overs as a kid, rolling the dice and anxiety. Then they get into the 2014 movie from New Zealand, Housebound. Also, Christin tells Brian 3 spooky true stories about people living in walls (as if he needs more anxiety.) Join us! Follow us! On this minisode Chris and Christin discuss their shared love of The X-Files and the origins of it. They then dive into one of the most infamous horror X-Files episodes, Home. They delve into questions about whether or not it was actually banned, locking your doors, and elbow room. They also discuss why some of the best X-Files jokes are in such a horrific episode, why this was probably the easiest case to solve for Mulder and Scully and so much more! Then Christin tells Chris about some of the true stories that inspired the writers of Home. Mainly the story of the Ward brothers and the death of Bill Ward, documented in the movie My Brother's Keeper.  Follow us!
