This story reminds us that God doesn’t see as man sees; He chooses hearts that are willing, surrendered, and ready. If you’ve been holding onto a past season, a failed plan, or a personal disappointment, this is your invitation: Release what God has rejected. Embrace what He’s preparing. This week’s message is all about eternal investment. Jesus calls us to store up treasure in heaven, not in things that fade, but in things that last forever. The truth is, we may never fully see the return on our time or our giving this side of eternity… but one day, we will. And when we do, it’ll be worth every second and every sacrifice. We’re not just giving, we’re building. Let’s Build the Church.

In 1 Samuel 15, Saul disobeys a direct command from God, and the consequences are devastating. God takes our disobedience seriously, and so should we. This message will help us examine why we disobey, whether it’s pride, misunderstanding, or a lack of trust, and call us to a deeper relationship with God where His wisdom shapes our will. If our hearts remain cold toward the consequences of sin, it’s time to ask God to show us the truth and renew our faith in the gospel.

This Sunday isn’t just about giving thanks, it’s about remembering. We’ll gather for our final Thanksgiving celebration in this building, and we’re marking the moment with a special service reflecting on the years of faithfulness, growth, and grace we've experienced here. From the very beginning to today, God has been so good, and we want to honor His hand through it all.Let’s fill this house with gratitude one more time. “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” – Psalm 107:1

In this chapter, Saul makes a foolish vow and chases achievement at the cost of wisdom, and it marks the beginning of the end of his leadership. His story reminds us: just because something looks like success doesn’t mean it’s from God. If your hope rises and falls with earthly leaders, you may be living in their kingdom more than His. Put your trust in the King who never fails.

In 1 Samuel 14, Jonathan and his armor-bearer take a bold leap of faith. Just the two of them against a Philistine army. But with hearts fully entrusted to God, their small step led to a miraculous victory. When faith is activated through prayer and right motives, the impossible becomes possible. Don’t wait for the numbers, trust God, step out, and believe for the miraculous.

In 1 Samuel 13, Saul’s impatience costs him everything. Instead of waiting for Samuel, he takes matters into his own hands and shows what happens when fear overrides faith. Don’t rush what God has promised. True obedience means trusting His timing, even when pressure mounts and answers feel delayed.

In 1 Samuel 12, Samuel steps down as Israel’s leader, but not without reminding the people of who God is and what He’s done. Even after failure, God still delights to save. Don’t be afraid, remember His character, trust His forgiveness, and keep walking in obedience. His faithfulness is your foundation

In Matthew 6, Jesus reminds us that if God cares for the birds and flowers, He’ll surely care for us too. His faithfulness isn’t just comforting, it’s our defense against anxiety. But when we don’t trust Him, we risk missing out on His promises and misrepresenting His goodness to the world. Let’s live lives that show peace is possible, because we know who holds tomorrow.

We’re continuing our series on Christian Joy, but this week we’re zooming in on the faithfulness of God. From creation to the cross, and even in our lowest moments. God’s steadfast love has never failed. Let this message lead you to joy rooted not in your circumstances, but in the unchanging character of a faithful God. At first glance, it’s Saul’s first military victory. But look closer, this is a prophetic picture of Christ defeating the enemy, breaking the chains of bitterness, and leading His people into freedom. Don’t let unforgiveness take root. Follow the King who won the victory on the Cross and still leads us in triumph today.

In this message from 1 Samuel, Saul is publicly announced as Israel’s king, a decision rooted in the people’s demand, not God’s design. But even in their rejection, God responds with mercy. If you’ve made poor choices or drifted from God’s will, take heart: you can be honest about where you are, and still move forward by trusting in His faithfulness.

In 1 Samuel 10, Saul is anointed as Israel’s first king, but he’s not sent out on his own. God confirms the call, empowers him with signs, and transforms his heart by the Spirit. When God calls, He also equips. Trust His hand on your life, yield to His Spirit, and walk boldly in the mission He’s given you.

Saul thought he was just chasing donkeys, but God was directing every step. In 1 Samuel 9, we see how God speaks to Samuel and sets Saul apart as Israel’s first king. Even with Saul’s flaws and failures, God still worked out His will. That’s good news for us, too: God is always working, even in spite of us.

In this week’s message, Israel demands a king to be “like the nations,” rejecting God as their true King. But even in their rebellion, God’s redemptive plan keeps moving forward. Substitutes always disappoint, but Jesus, the true King, gives freedom, life, and leadership we can trust. Surrender fully to Him; He’s the only one worthy of the throne.

In this week’s message, we see Israel experience real spiritual renewal. Under Samuel’s leadership, they cast away idols, return to the Lord, and watch as God delivers them and restores peace. True victory still comes the same way today, when we repent fully, trust deeply, and remember His faithfulness every step of the way.

In 1 Peter 1:3-9, we’re reminded that our hope in Jesus isn’t just something we understand, it’s something we live. Hope should shape how we speak, how we carry ourselves at home and at work, and how we respond when life gets hard. Real hope doesn’t just look good on paper; it’s meant to be seen, heard, and felt by the world around us.

The world offers a lot of false hope, but in Christ, we have a hope that’s unshakable. 1 Peter 1:3-9 reminds us that our hope isn’t wishful thinking; it’s a guarantee from the God who has never broken a promise. Put your hope in Jesus, you won’t be disappointed.

The Ark is finally returned to Israel, but the real question isn’t where the Ark is; it’s where the hearts of God’s people are. God’s presence isn’t something we manage or manipulate; it demands reverence, not ritual. It’s time to stop going through the motions and return to Him with awe, surrender, and wholehearted devotion.
