If your consent is ignored, you need to get out of danger safely. To help calm the situation and regain control, use the 'yes technique'. The 'yes technique' is designed to help an aggressor feel appeased and more in control. Use this to your advantage to get to safety or alert someone who can help you. Created for parents and teachers to learn (and then teach their kids) what consent is, how to recognise consent, and different ways to express giving or not giving consent. Most importantly it gives you ideas to incorporate teaching consent in everyday life, or in micro moments, rather than sitting down to explain in a talk alone.
