It's no secret that we're all ready for 2020 to be over. It’s been a crazy year for all,  filled with experiences and challenges that none of us could have been prepared for.  So before we write the year off as a total bust, come listen to us reflect on some of the things we learnt this year. This is our final episode for 2020! Filled with lots of exciting announcements! We wish all of our listeners a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Over time, bridging the gap of equality between genders has been an ongoing issue, and although we have made leaps and bounds, there are still prevalent inequalities between men and women. So today let's talk about the pink tax, which refers to the extra money women pay for specific products or services - basically an unnecessary mark-up on products comparable to that of mens. There is still work to do to remove this "pink tax", so join us as we educate ourselves and learn more about this still very current issue. 

The girls are back and this week we are chatting about how we've settled into living on land. For many of us, we've had to face reality and either move back in with our parents or search for our own place. So why are young dancers being expected to take unpaid jobs and being led to believe that "It will look great on a CV" is enough pay in itself? In the past week in Australia, news has circulated that the AFL had asked hundreds of dancer's to participate as volunteers for their grand final half-time show. With all that's happened this year, it has been another huge hit to the industry displaying the systemic issue that the art's are undervalued in Australia.
