The street we are walking along is now called Francesc Gumá Street, named after the promoter of the railway station, but at the end of the 19th century it was known as "Station Street". Along this street we will see other houses of the "Americanos" in different architectural styles, all built between 1880 and 1920.

Pedro Carrera i Robert. The building was designed in 1906 by the architect Pujol i Brull, a disciple of Gaudí, in the style of 'Catalan modernism.' The house stands out for its rich decorative elements on the facade.

I propose a route that will take us on a journey through the history of Sitges, starting right here, on a cold December day in 1880, when the railway arrived in Sitges, and the station was inaugurated. Let's walk through history. Let's go back to the beginning and immerse ourselves in the Middle Ages. I would like to propose a wonderful journey to the past and... why not... to the future!
