Adriel Michaud, aka The Hunting Gear Guy, joins us this week to talk about hunting ethics. This topic seems to be at the front of many people's minds ever since Cecil the lion didn't come home from his dentist appointment.

Owen is away this week but Trevor is back and has many stories to tell. We talk about some of the more popular non-restricted black rifles. OK fine, modern sporting rifles - you know what we mean.

Trevor is off again this week as he vacations with his wife. Matthew is back but without a topic so we turn to you the listener via Facebook for suggestions. We get an awesome email from a lawyer (which is not something you often say) and there may also be an airplane story.

Trevor is busy this week organizing Summer Slam 9 and Matthew is doing his best to get in the way. So that leaves Owen with the keys to the show. It's a live show this week that was recorded on August 6th. Lots of cool guests and topics.

Steve Lee joins us for a bit this week to talk about the recent gun law proposals in Australia. They're going after the lever actions now. This is what could happen to us if we don't stay actively involved in fight to regain our gun rights!

Chris Anderson joins us this week to talk about the self defense shooting by the security guard at McDonald's in Toronto as well as Bill S-231 which was introduced by a Liberal Senator who is looking to impose more restrictions on gun owners.

Well Trevor is here for the main topic part of the show, but for the rest of it, Bryan Bolivar from Modern Rifleman Radio steps in. We regale you with stories from the weekend, share a pretty silly news article, and read some great emails.

We're back at Trevor's for the PARA handgun course with Tom Nelson of the Gun Dudes. But that's not what we're talking about this week. Owen is away so Jason Gallen joins us to talk about the events at the charity. Lots of funny stories and hardly anyone got choked.

We're all at Trevor's this week for the Charity Shoot and so we had some extras in the room as we recorded. We talk about how big is too big when it comes to hunting calibres, we get an NFA update from Tracy, Jazz and John give us another excuse as to why they haven't recorded a show yet, and Sticks and Edith tell us about bringing guns across the border. Tenexx says hi too.

Rod Giltaca joins us once again to discuss Bill C-42 which recently received Royal Assent. We talk about what that means for you as a Canadian firearms owner. We also have a whole pile of email. Owen even shows up eventually.

Chris Kingston, former president of the Restigouche Gun Club, joins us to talk about the upcoming Charity Shoot and the foundation to which the proceeds are going. Additionally, there is more anti-gun silliness in the news, this time coming from our Senate.

What gun gives you the best bang for your buck? We break it down into five different categories and give you our take on the subject. We also discuss the recent news about the RCMP trying to further restrict us when it comes to magazine capacity.

Why buy a striker fired polymer pistol that's not a Glock? We don't know either. That's not true. We actually come up with some legitimate reasons. We also answer a bunch of your Facebook questions.

We talk with Jim Carlton of the Firearms Alliance of Canada. The F.A.C. is a new gun organization that looks like it's starting off on the right foot. We encourage all of our listeners to join.

As expected, we got a little feedback from last week's SKS rant. We also talk a little bit about bear defense, fire starting, and an interesting run-in with the law.

Tom Nelson of PARA and of the Gun Dudes joins us to talk about the Beretta 92. Trevor also rants about SKS owners who put plastic stocks on their rifles.

Our favourite Clone Trooper joins us this week to help reminisce about our top five gun related memories. We also get a bunch of email and talk for an embarrassingly long time about raw milk. We're very sorry about that.

Daniel Balofsky and Kent Nicolson join us to talk about the "Keep Calm and Make it Reign" initiative. Basically, they're planning on building and opening the biggest gun range in North America - in Toronto of all places! (well, just north of Toronto actually)
