A genre rich in real life ancient folklore from around the world and ripe for regular contemporary updating in any era, SAE takes a look at two very different spins on the werewolf mythos in the 2000 Canadian cult classic, Ginger Snaps and the fresh meat American release, The Wolf Of Snow Hollow (2020).

SAE takes a look at two very different movies from very different eras that have become milestones of change in the long history of genre horror's racially unrepresentative, segregated and white dominated film landscape, both in front of and behind the camera. Episode 44: Best of 2020 pt1. New year, same splat. SAE returns from break rounding up some favorite releases of 2020 starting with the British films, Amulet and His House. Two feature film directorial debuts that have more in common than country of origin, on Hulu and Netflix respectively

Ep. 43: Happy Holidays pt3. The bad news is out, no Christmas bonuses at Speak All Evil this year but plenty of seasonal cheer is had as the gang takes in Black Christmas (2019), Scrooged (1988) and puts a stake in the godforsaken heart of 2020.

Ep42: Happy Holidays pt2. A double down on season's greetings and good tidings to you as SAE continues to shift further into the spirit of Christmas with the much maligned 1984 slasher cult classic, Silent Night, Deadly Night and the more contemporary and family friendly foreign language Santa horror of Rare Exports (2010).
