Reba Riley – Are you proud of the partnership that you’re in?

Reba Riley is the author of the Simon & Schuster bestselling memoir "Post-Traumatic Church Syndrome: one woman's desperate, funny, and healing journey through 30 religions before her 30th birthday"  She has overcome chronic illness, depression, and spiritual injury & now travels nationally speaking on the topics of healing, courage, and radical kindness. Guiding Principle, Quote, or Mantra Brave is a verb. Kindness cures. Love is bigger than everything. When You “Tripped Up” in a Partnership One of Reba’s biggest “trip ups” came with her best friend. They had decided that they were going to start a business together and it didn’t go well. This was about ten years ago and they had a great idea. What they discovered in the process is that they’re fantastic friends but horrible in working together. What tripped her up was that she felt like she couldn’t be honest at times with her friend. Find out what happened next by listening to the show. Your Proudest Moment in Partnership One of Reba’s proudest moments in partnership came with her editor for her book, ‘Post Traumatic Church Syndrome’. What her editor did was take her raw talent and experience, and taught her how to craft it into a story. In a period of over 18 months, her editor did everything in her power to help her along the way. Nearing the end, Reba asked her for her honest opinion on what she thought of the book and everything, and she replied with “I’m so happy and proud to have my name involved with this book.” Find out what happened next by listening to the show. What is the Biggest Thing That Men “Trip Up” on with Women? Pablo explains that the biggest thing men “trip up” on with women is vulnerability. Pablo struggled with this in the past as well. They love helping clients get past overwhelm, self-doubt, and chronic health issues so they can be a powerful presence and have the success they’ve dreamed of. They live their dreams in the wilds of West Marin, California. Guiding Principle, Quote, or Mantra Greg - “I don’t have to do it all. It doesn’t all have to be perfect. And I think other people know how to do stuff too.” When he’s off in the weeds is when he’s looking at what other people are doing and not what he’s doing. When You “Tripped Up” in a Partnership Antonia & Greg have been together for 40 years, so in that time they’ve had many trip ups in their partnership. One of those more difficult moments came when their kids were teenagers. When you’re together you have so many partnerships. With that, they both had very different parenting styles. This was a huge challenge for them at points. Find out more by listening to the show. Your Proudest Moment in Partnership One of their proudest moments came with their daughter. You know your kids pretty well but not everything. This was a time of total compassion and their daughter in a time of finding herself.  Near the end of high school she went to them and expressed that she thought she was gay. They told her that they had an idea that it may have been the case. Their daughter jokingly said “why didn’t you tell me?”.  It was such a proud moment of acceptance, trust, and love.  The Best Partnership Advice You’ve Ever Received Greg - “Don’t go to bed with a sour taste of yourself or your partner.” Antonia - “Be here now.” Interview Links – Their Website  3 Powerful Ways To Tap Into Your Body’s Wisdom FB Group - Vibrant Healing Wisdom

Anna Kowalska – Your hands are the window to how your heart is wired

Anna Kowalska is an Artist and Scientific Hand Analyst. She has transformed her life to create freedom for what she truly desires and works with her clients to help them do the same. Anna uses Scientific Hand Analysis to identify an individual’s Soul Agreement/Purpose and unique and personal road map to living it. She creates individual and group experiences that combine intuition, creative expression and powerful guidance to facilitate creative and spiritual opening. She is the Creator of the “Dance & Paint”, “Heal Your Heart” and “Free Your Wings” experiences. How did you get started doing this work? What she learned from the scientific hand analysis she received has set her free to follow her purpose without doubting it. Scientific Hand Analysis vs. Palm Reading Scientific Hand Analysis shows you how your brain is wired.  The lines in your hands are correlated to the neural pathways in your brain. Go here to watch the reading: What does your Heart Line show you? The Heart Line reflects how you express love and how you receive love.  Plus any heart lessons you are experiencing. My dominant hand reflects how I am in the outer world and my other hand reflects how I am in my inner world and my inner circle or closest loved ones. The main lines that are in your hand are: Heart line – how you express and how you love. Head line – your style of thinking and how you process information. Life line – your energy level.  Your lifestyle. Fate line – your career path and follow through. Also your fingerprints indicate your purpose, your lesson and your life school.  This is your North Star in your life. Follow Your “Yes” – What’s your path of peace?

Do you follow your "Yes?" Following your "Yes" is about you taking a step forward in your partnerships by taking action and applying at least one thing you heard from our guests during their interviews this week. On today’s episode, all of this week’s guests have generously provided BONUS MATERIAL, not included in the interviews you listened to earlier this week. Each one has provided incredible examples of the power of following your “Yes”.  Enjoy! Emilia Nagy Not Following - It isn’t the big things that Emilia has had hard times following, but rather the small things in her daily life. In the moment it doesn’t always have the biggest impact, but overtime it really does. Some of those “micro yeses” are taking a walk when her body is telling her to or going outside and being in the sun. She often says “no” when she really should be saying “yes”. Following – There was a time when Emilia signed up to host an exchange student. They ended up receiving a request from a girl who lived in Italy. There was a lot going on at the time when they received this request. Her initial thought was that she wasn’t good enough to host this beautiful girl and her family. In her heart she wanted to say “yes” but she had all these things going on. Find out what happened next by listening to the interview. Listen to Emilia’s full interview here Connect with Emilia – Sacred Love Activation Meditation Her Website   Michelle Marchant Johnson Not Following - Michelle had been through a painful ending to an off and on relationship she had had for 10 years. She met a “bad boy” at a party and wanted to numb the pain she was in from the breakup, so even though she knew getting involved with this guy was not a good idea, she did it. Ultimately, she had to get over the original painful breakup with the “bad boy” break up added on top of it. These things happen because we are operating from the 3 F’s – fear, fantasy or falsehood. Following – Michelle was not happy with her corporate job but they were giving her raise and increasing her benefits and she had another option that didn’t pay as much and would be less stressful. Then she listened to her Yes and chose the path of peace.  And it absolutely ended up being the right decision for her at that time. Emilia Nagy Not Following – It isn’t the big things that Emilia has had hard times following, but rather the small things in her daily life. She met a “bad boy” at a party and wanted to numb the pain she was in from the breakup, so even though she knew getting involved with this guy was not a good idea, she did it. Ultimately, she had to get over the original painful breakup with the “bad boy” break up added on top of it. These...

Michelle Marchant Johnson – The support you receive when you ask

Michelle Marchant Johnson is a relationship coach, speaker and author.  In her business, LoveLifeCoaching.com she specializes in helping women learn how to express their feminine joy, energy and presence and how to invite interaction, attraction, and commitment from a man. Her articles have been featured on many internet sites and she was recognized by DatingAdvice.com as one of the Top Ten Midlife Relationship Experts.  She is currently writing a book entitled “Meet Him and Keep Him.”  She is the host of the Ready for the Right Guy Global Telesummit  and co-creator of a proprietary system for single women called How to Meet a Great Guy. Michelle is also an advanced stage breast cancer survivor who believes life is precious and is meant to be lived with purpose, love, and joy. Guiding Principle, Quote or Mantra “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” - Rumi When You Tripped Up When Michelle became a first-time bride at 43 she realized both she and her husband had been living very individual lives for a long time.  Her trip up was when she let her expectations go unspoken and then got upset at him because he did not pick up on what her expectations were and address them. “I created my own personal drama.” What she learned is that her husband is actually very willing to help her in almost every case if she expresses her wants or needs to him in a way that he can respond. (These are some great stories I am sure you will relate to no matter if you are a man or a woman.) The “DUH” moment that changed your partnerships forever Michelle had a “DUH” moment one Christmas day when she went out to shovel snow from the driveway because her husband had not done it yet, even though he said he would. Her ah-ha was that it is not only what she does in her partnership, but also the intention behind it.  And considering how that intention might come across to her partner. She learned that it is very important be honest with herself about her intentions and to communicate them to her partner. Proudest moment in partnership Michelle was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 4 years ago.  And she felt like she was loosing all of her femininity. While she was always a very strong and independent woman, she was in a place where she needed support. She learned how to be in touch with her needs and desires and how to express and ask for what she wanted in a more powerful way.  Being receptive to this support allowed her develop and deepen friendships like never before. What is the best partnership / relationship advice you have ever received? Seek first to understand and then to be understood. Best Partnership Book or Resource The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change The Art and Practice of Loving: Living a Heartfelt Yes Payoff of Partnership - Michelle knew she wanted to start her coaching business and when she got up the courage to tell her husband that she wanted to leave her corporate job he surprised her. Her husband not only was supportive, but he actually became her most ardent supporter, fan and even a partner. She wouldn’t have had the courage to make the leap from corporate America without her partnership with her husband. Enjoy! Todd Creager Not Following - One that comes to mind for Todd is when he was married for about 8-10 years at the time. He was a practicing therapist and was asked by a group of therapists to go consult with them on some couples cases. There was a practice called EMDR that Todd was interested in because he saw this group using it. He ended up pushing it off and almost 15 years after finally used it, and it was wonderful. Find out why Todd waited so long and didn’t initially follow his “yes” by listening to his interview. Following - Todd and his wife had a child and then she wanted a second, but Todd wasn’t sure if he wanted a second. Him and his wife talked about it a bit and he then waited for a while and thought about it. What gave him that “yes” is when he thought about his current child by herself without a second, and he felt a dip in energy. Then, he thought about what it would be like with two children, and he felt an increase in energy. Find out the rest of the story by listening to the podcast.
