"As Above, So Below," "Man was made in the Image of God," "Tat Vam Asi (That art Thou)." These great sayings form the core of spiritual philosophies the world over. In them lies the great secret of Spirituality, that the individual human being, and the divine, share a singular relationship of profound mystery. But while mysticism may be beautiful, faith without works is dead. The ultimate end of any religion is not merely belief, but an ethic, a code of behavior. And as individuals must have a code, how much so for nations? Every other Saturday, at 11 am Pacific, Join Elias Wilkin as he explores the intersection of politics, ethics and spirituality.

Dualism

After a brief hiatus, Elias Wilkin returns to Spiritual Politics to discuss "Dualism," and the opposing philosophy of "Non-Dualism."  Elias examines the evolutionary origins of Dualism, as well as the spiritual, ethical and political dangers inherent in Dualistic thinking.  While not a revision of the Natural Law discussed in the podcast thus far, this episode does challenge many of the conventional ideas held dear in our society, particularly by spiritual people.

The Origins of Progressivism

In this Episode, Elias Wilkin examines the origins and theory of "Progressivism," the innocuous name given to so-called "liberal" collectivist theories that run contrary to Natural Law and have wormed their way into the center of our current political theories.

The Tao of the Market

The "Invisible Hand" of the free market gets spiritualized into the "Tao of the Market," in this episode.  Elias Wilkin examines how the Free Market--the free association of soveriegn individuals--brings about the creation of wealth for all members of society, and how incredibley ordered coordination of activities takes place without any central planning at all.  In fact, central planning--aka coercive control of individuals' activities--actually disturbs the Tao of the Market, and results, ultimately, in nothing but destruction.

Re-Defining Left and Right

In this episode, Elias Wilkin examines the Left-Right Paradigm as it currently stands in American politics, and questions wheather these concepts make any sense when examined at a deeper level than mere talking points and Plattitudes.  Elias defines Spiritual Politics as a philosophy on the "Far Right," but not according to our current sense of the political "Right" but according to a new conception based on examinations of fundamental principles and philosophy.

The Case for Anarcho Capitalsim

In this Episode, Elias Wilkin Puts forth the central thesis of Spiritual Politics: that Anarch-Capitalsim is the only moral, natural and legitimate form of social governance, and that efforts to bring about and maintain this type of society are the most spiritual activies in which one can engage.  Outlandish claims? Not really, at least not when one examines the true nature of the State, and the meaning of individual rights.

Gay Marriage

In this episode Elias Wilkin examines the issue of Gay marriage, so recently tackled by the Supreme Court of the United States.  A brief overview of the current state of the law leads into a compairson between Spiritual Politics and the view of another Natural Law Philosopher, Robert George.  George holds that Natural Law suggests that Gay Marriage should be banned, while Elias Wilkin and Spiritual Politics sees banning Gay Marriage as fundamentally UNnatural.  Elias examines the metaphysics and epistemologies of both schools of thought.

Ethics

In this Episode, Elias Wilkin recaps the Metaphysics established in the first two episodes, and then builds off this foundation to lay out a spiritual ethical philosophy, in which the ethical binary of "Good and Bad" is expanded into a hexa-polar system of Fortunate-Unfortunate; Good-Bad; and Spiritual-Evil.  From this framework, a system of determining individual ethical obligations will emerge
