Comedian CP, born Christopher Jason Powell, got his start in Detroit but has made a name for himself nationwide, gripping audiences with his humor. CP otherwise known as the “Comedic Phenomenon”, was born and raised in Detroit, MI and attended Michigan State University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Digital Media Arts and Technology. Post college graduatioon, CP maintained a prominent position at a multicultural advertising agency, but decided to depart from the company and pursue a full-time career as a comedian.
