I'm back with the first episode of the new and improved State Of Mind Podcast (with Vic). It's been a while since I have recorded an episode and I wanted to have a fresh start. I know, I've been slack on the podcast. But I'm back and better than ever. This week I talk about my recent experience with Apple and I finally have an outro that is not cringey. 

You might remember (if you have been listening to the podcast for a while) that I have spoken about the theory of six degrees of separation. Well, these last two weeks have helped me to understand all of the different connections that I have with people. Oh, and did I tell you that I joined a soccer team? It's been a busy two weeks, I fell off my bike, some people pointed me out in the street, I went to a party for the first time in ages and its Valentine's Day with no one to spend it with. 

Happy new year everyone! Sorry I was inactive with uploading, but I'm back now and better than ever with heaps of fun new episodes planned. On this week's episode I talk about my quad biking adventures, my obsession with this new protein shake that I found and my plans for the podcast. 

A potato flew around my room before you came... oh wait - a cockroach ran around my room when I was hiding from my family. I know, I uploaded late once again but bare with me for one more week and the podcast will be running smoothly very soon

Reasons why this episode is great - 1. I talk about my possible mint allergy, 2. I once again am stuck on delivered for ages and 3. I discuss the oh so versatile vegetable - the cucumber. Yes this episode is mostly me just talking about cucumbers and no I have no regrets.

This week we saw the launch of the PlayStation 5 and I can definitely confirm that it is definitely worth it, although some games that are available I can't say that I love them. This week I talk (in more detail) about my experiene with the PS5. 

Won't lie, this eipsode came out late but we will just take it with a grain of salt right? This week its all about spiders (totally not because I've seen maybe 10 in the past 7 days) and briefly discuss the US election. omg and if you didn't already know, I LOVE BEES and I found the cutest bee couple (don't mind me, I'm in love for them)

I cannot believe that we are up to 13 episodes already omg! Happy spookaween, I think it is now my favourite holiday because I now know that I love horror movies, but everyone else in my family hates them, I guess I'm just -special-. So, this week's eipsode,I will not lie, was a little rushed because this episode was uploaded late because I've been drowning in studying for my first HSC exam and I am just not here for it. I kinda also planned my halloween costume for next year because I am going to throw a party for myself, and myself only. I also spoke about the Rough Edges sleep out which was on Friday and it was definitely a great night to say the least, we "couch surfed" and watched the movie Holidate (not my favourite, not quite sure why it is trending on Netflix but anyways), we went onto a zoom call and I had a great conversation there, and to end off the night we played some MTV party hits and pretended we were in dancing music videos. All in all, I would say that night was a success. 

Quick little shoutout to my mates in Business Studies for reminding me to upload. Yes I know I forgot to upload and oh well, you now get to enjoy this wonderful mess that I have created. I did have an actual episode but the family was making too many comments in the first 5 mins of it being out so it went *poof* like my happiness. Anyways, I'm not entirely sure what this episode is about, it's just a few thoughts that I had whilst recording and me ranting about maths work. 

This week I find out about some interesting things I had heard. I also very briefly discuss Ruel's (possible?) crush after analysing his songs. Finally, to end the episode on a nicer note, I read out small parts of a letter I wrote to myself in the future. Take a seat, grab some tea and enjoy the show where I find out that I am basically the human version of Dory (yes the one from Finding Nemo)

It's so crazy how small our world really is, I only thought people say we live in a small world as a joke but clearly not. In this weeks episode I dive into the "six degrees of separation" theory. It's crazy how close we all are to some celebrities and I talk about some that I could meet if I followed the theory to its full potential. I also, very quickly and briefly, point out some fun facts about some of the Ruel TV episodes I have watched. Get a notebook and a pen because you might want to jot down some of these notes from the podcast so you can matt those celebrities you've always wanted to meet!

Today I go into detail about Shawn Mendes' new song Wonder as well as the visuals that accompany it. On a side note, I also talk about other things as usual and go on many tangents

Season 8 finale of the Bachelor is here and the results are... interesting. 45 long minutes of my opinions on the final episode and what I know should've been the outcome - but anyways, the end of an era is always a start of a new one. I have also created an instagram account for the podcast @stateofmindbyvic if you wanna check it out. And (english teachers would be very proud of that) I am also starting a new segment on the show but I need your help to come up with names. 

Its been a while since I've last recorded a podcast episode, but for this week I talk about how I started to like hotel lobby music, some new ways I aim to be more productive with school and we hear a bit from Sarah and her anecdotes 

Ok so I don't actually have tiktok anymore but all the videos from there are being uploaded to Instagram, so essentially I'm stuck on Draco tiktok and to be completely honest I do not hate it. Some of those POV videos that have been uploaded are awesome and some people need help. Nevertheless it has definitely been a fun week and lets say that this is the reason why Harry Potter is all over my YouTube reccomended and Instagram.
