In this episode, we will explore Jonah 1:1-3 and11-17 to learn about Jonah, who God wanted to use to further his mission, but who tried to run away from God. Listeners are encouraged to discuss a time they failed at something and how it made them feel. Families are invited to pray for missionaries who may not feel smart enough or young enough or close enough to God, and yet God has chosen them to be a part of his mission to spread his kingdom. Families are invited to pray for people who, like Abram, left their homes to spread God’s love. Families are invited to pray for Carpenters for Christ, an organization in Tegucigalpa, Honduras dedicated to restoring the dignity of communities in need by building homes, offering medical aid, and spreading the Gospel of Christ. Starting in July we will be releasing weekly episodes of a new devotional series! This time, we will talk about what it means to be a Missionary, see how God spreads His Kingdom, and remember that God loves the WHOLE world. We are so excited for you to learn along with us.

Serving our peers isn’t always easy, and in this episode of STEP into the school year families will help their kids explore what it looks like to serve others this school year as they study 1 Peter 4:10.

In this episode of STEP into the School Year kids will be encouraged to consider ways they seek acceptance, and where true acceptance is found. They’ll listen to 1 Peter 2:9-10 as a way of being reminded who they are in Christ.

They’ll be reminded that when we invite others in and befriend others it can be a way to show others the love of Jesus.

Welcome to STEP into the School year where we want families walk with Jesus. Our short devotionals are designed to help kids meditate on scripture, consider what it means, and spend time in prayer. In this episode kids will explore what it can look like to forgive differently this school year by studying 1 Peter 2:21-23.

Loving others can be hard, and this school year we want to encourage kids to consider how to love differently. Together we’ll explore 1 Peter 3:8-9 and consider how God loves us, and how he calls us to love others in a way that is honoring to him.

The beginning of the school year can bring many worries and anxieties for our kids. Join us in this episode of STEP into the School Year as we learn to cast our anxieties on Jesus through the reading and studying of 1 Peter 5:7. This school year let’s help kids worry differently.

In this episode of STEP into the School year, we will use 1 Peter 1:3-5 to be reminded of where our hope is found. We can be prone to put our hope in things of this world but this episode will point kids to an eternal hope that will never fail as they explore how to hope differently this school year.

! In this episode, Believe Differently, kids will study 1 Peter 3:15 and be encouraged to remember what it is they believe about the Gospel of Jesus and how it can help them believe differently this school year.

In this episode of STEP into the School Year kids will be prompted to consider how they can live differently this school year. Together explore how we are chosen by God to live for him and what that can look like by studying 1 Peter 2:9.

Welcome to STEP into the School Year, a daily devotional designed to help families walk with Jesus! In this episode, we will hear about both Jesus’s authority and his ability to be with us in all things in Matthew 4:35-51. Kids and families will also be guided to pray for the beginning of their school year.
