In the previous show, I talked about one of the reasons we experience the trials we do as believers and how we can battle them and come out victoriously.   In this show, I cover another reason we face what we do and again, discuss how to come through it successfully as God intends. We've been given all we need in Christ, we need to know what we have, how to act on it, and act on it.

Many of us are facing trials and challenges. It's gets frustrating for a believer because you see the promises of God and then look at your life and wonder why the huge gap. Or perhaps you have learned that trials do refine your faith, but wondering when will they ever end. I hope to encourage you by sharing the deeper purpose and reason for many of those trials by giving a different perspective on the situation. In this two part segment, I talk about two main reasons for why we experience what we do. In part one, I cover the first reason and part two I conclude the first and discuss the second reason.

In the previous show, I talked about the source of discouragement and how when we get to the source we are enabled to battle this debilitating emotion. Here I talk about three consequences of falling into discouragement and the steps to come out of it. This is an emotion that steals many precious moments of our lives that could be filled with growth and peace. It's an emotion we all experience, yes, but we don't have to dwell and live in it.

Discouragement is something we all face. In this show, I talk about how to defeat the discouragement in your life by embracing the truth. It isn't an "ignorance is bliss" ideal that often comes with the "positive" thinking philiosophy, but it's looking head on at the truth of our situations and battling them with the truth. God has given us much in Christ. We need to learn and embrace what we have in Him.  Ephesians 1:18-19 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

The impact that our dads have in our lives, good or bad, is astounding. The desire for a good father comes from the inner longing to be united to our Heavenly Father. In this show, I talk about how our relationship with our earthly dad affects our relationship with God. I discuss our part in our relationship with God that is taught through the child/father dynamic. And I talk about coming to know God as the perfect Father we've all longed for.   This is a message close to many of our hearts. I pray you are blessed by it and moved to seek your heavenly Father as He is and His love for you.

This show continues the discussion on seeking and gaining the wisdom of God. I talk about how we come to know God's wisdom and obstacles that we face along the way. The source of our truth affects everything in our lives. To live in the abundant life that Christ Jesus came to give, we have to seek His truth and walk in it. As long as we are walking contrary to Him, we will be creating destruction in our lives.

Wisdom and understanding form the foundations from which we think, feel and act. Our philosophies and beliefs that make up our wisdom or lack of it are what we live by every moment of our lives. They create filters through which we see ourselves, others, God, circumstances, everything. Therefore, our wisdom and the source of it are of the utmost importance and God is calling us to forsake the world’s masquerade of enlightenment and grab a hold of His pure Truth. Here I talk about gaining the wisdom of God and three areas of our lives it greatly impacts. This is an essential topic for every true believer.

Most all of us long to have a sense of purpose that is beyond just eating, sleeping, and working day in and day out. For some of us, this unfilled aspect has plagued our lives sending us into places of darkness and despair. In this show I share my personal struggle and journey. I talk about our purpose and how it is found in unity with God because we were created to be in unity with Him. Apart from Him we will remained unfulfilled and ever searching. Though the world offers glimmers of hope in this area, only in God is it found to it's fullest as we desire.

God's love is far more perfect and pure than any love we know. To truly know His love we have to know Him. We have to know Him as He is and not some image. In this show, I talk about that love and how we come to know it and abide in it so that not only do we experience it but we have it to give to others.

The main difference from a maturing believer and one who isn't is a seeking heart. Those who diligently seek to know, trust and love God are those who experience Him and abide in His kingdom. In this show, I talk about what this seeking entails, why it is important and how God rewards those who seek Him. Seeking is the key to knowing God in truth and Spirit and walking in His power. It is what changes your life to be united to Him.
