Strive Podcast

Picking up from the burning bush, this podcast episode explores Moses' journey to free the Israelites from Egypt, facing off against Pharaoh in what is often depicted as an epic showdown. However, at its core, this is not a battle of wills between two men, but a demonstration of God's power and sovereignty. We dive into the meaning behind the ten plagues, the parting of the Red Sea, and the Israelites' struggles in the wilderness—including Moses’ own moment of pride when he strikes the rock instead of speaking to it as God commanded. We also discuss the deeper lessons of trust, obedience, and human nature, seeing how the Israelites' complaints reflect our own tendencies to forget God's past provisions. From the miraculous crossing of the Red Sea to the golden calf at Mount Sinai, this episode unpacks the themes of faith, leadership, and God's ultimate reign.
