A few tips
Voiceover is basically acting with your voice. There are a huge amount of voiceovers being used absolutely everywhere, there are: voices for adverts, E-Learning, Explainer videos, Ebooks, Courses, Gaming, Animation, In-show Narration, Presenting, Cinema Trailers, Infomercials, Dubbing, Phone Prompts, Audiobooks, voices for toys, podcasts, websites, and In-store display units. This list is not exhaustive either as there are new areas springing up all the time.
A Voiceover Artist has to be able to add life to a script, put a little umph in it kind of thing. Also it is essential for a Voiceover Artist to lift the words off the paper and have the ability to create a real character in your mind and in your heart. A great Voiceover Artist is able to think on their feet, interpret the words into a realistic character, and to be able to give a real heart filled with passion to voice the script.
It's not all glamorous though, some parts of the work are less attractive. So for example if you are doing an audio book recording you are standing or even sitting for hours and hours of recording often in a dark room with no natural light in a Studio or in your home studio. So not ideal circumstances but it's the end result that you're focusing on. It is the same type of set up an environment if you're recording for online E-Learning programs often for Medical, or Legal scripts which can be long, technical words, reading for hours on end.You still need to keep the passion the drive, the enthusiasm, the character and the heart behind all of your readings. It is no walk in the park , especially if you have the Client listening in via Skype in your headphones.
You have got to use your voice for acting it's not just about having a nice voice or someone told you that you sound smoother than honey or you got that Barry White bass voice. It's all about how are you using your voice to lift the words from the script, how are you using your voice to move a text into a real character and creating a depth or belief for the listener.
You need to also think as well where does your voice belong ? What type of voice do you have? What's your age reading range? Do you sound like a teenager or a woman in their 20s? How long can you do a French accent for ? Also think about other Industries that your voice may be useful for as not everybody is going to be the cinema movie trailer voice. Some people need to go and do animation characters some people need to go and do gaming characters how many voices do you have in your repertoire? Can you be a child or a woman of 18, someone in their 60s? How far can your range of voice go? You need to think about these things when you're trying to think of going into the Voiceover industry...

Learning English Should Be Fun
My Top 10 Tips for Improving Your Spoken English
Listen
Listen to the news, English podcasts, good native English speakers and songs. Remember
the more you listen, the more you will learn. So in every occasion try to be an active listener and repeat what you hear imitating the pronunciation, the sound, the stress on the word by the speaker too. That phrase comes to mind “Monkey See, Monkey Do” is now “Monkey Hear Monkey speak.”
Watch TV & Films
There are a number of films done by Hollywood day in and day out make sure that you watch these films to listen to the sound of the words pace and emotional and watch it not to enjoy the film but to note and imitate the position of the mouths..imitate them.
Try to avoid putting the subtitles on if you can as they makes your learning slower as relying on home language to explain things
Read Out loud daily
You need to find something to read daily; whether it's a newspaper, a blog,Ted Talk transcripts, a book, a play, some poetry or even a whatsapp message. When you read out loud practice the pronunciation, pace and intonation.
Get a buddy to talk to
To speak English better you need to be speaking on a regular, if not daily basis to really get the benefit of English. So try to get yourself a friend on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, online somewhere if your friends are not free then offer an exchange of teaching them your home language. That is how you get your new speaking pen pal and on another point make sure that they're English is better than yours
Use technology to help your learning
Your phone is your best friend on your journey of improving your speaking English because there are so many apps on smartphones whether you have an Android or iPhone. Record yourself speaking into the phone, then play it back to yourself and ask your friends to listen and give you feedback. Another tip is to record the same text once a week or month and listen to where you have improve to monitor your growth.
Speak always at every time
Take every occasion to speak whether it's at a coffee shop or at work or an email being sent at work then be extra and make a phone call to just confirm the person understood it. I suggest you take every opportunity to speak English with both hands. As an example, when you're buying a ticket at a train station just talk about how much is it, what is the return price, the route and even mention the weather.
Learn a new word daily
Pick a word today and practice it in many different sentences and say in different ways. Practice that word each day until you mastered it then the next week or the next day you can pick a new word. Remember to always put these words into context and into a full sentence
Read a dictionary and thesaurus daily
Dictionaries and thesauruses are your best friend you can get them online very easily. I suggest that you read at least a page of these every single day. Try to memorise the word then say them out loud and put them into a sentence. Try to understand what they mean and I find that with dictionaries it shows you how to pronounce it and what I love about the thesaurus is that it gives alternative synonyms to the word you are actually trying to learn.
Do practical activities while learning English (football, tennis, cooking)
When you are learning English you need to put it into a practical sense. So please escape the Classroom and learn your vocab for travel by going on a bus and using all the relevant vocab. Another example is if you need to learn about food go to a cooking class and make some yummy food and make friends at the same time
Debate or talks
Go to weekly talks there are hundreds of them on meetup.com to venture into with a wide range of different topics. Try to go to weekly talks go with the view that you are going to actually talk and also learn new vocab form the way people talk about the topic. Pay attention to the delivery, the passion and the pace etc of the
