Her personal mission is to tell the story, and thus change the world, one heart at a time.  Song Marshall - “Lieutenant Claire Jacqueme” Born in West Covina, California, Song grew up all over the country, living in California, Georgia, Florida, and Louisiana. Ruth Kaufman - “A.M.I.” Ruth Kaufman is a Chicago author, voiceover and on-camera talent. She’s narrated dozens of projects, voiced numerous characters, and has had roles in various independent features, web series and national TV commercials. And she’s performed on stages from iO to the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Her unparalleled improvisational speed talking has been featured on America’s Funniest People and in other productions. No AI was used in the writing or production of this episode. It was all pure human talent.

Marketing exec Erica Crawford lost hers when a coma robbed her of all memory of the last ten years, and not even the FBI knows what she’s been up to. Now she wanders the streets of 2025 Chicago, trying to get by on a meager allowance of government assistance credits, without friends, funds, or a work history within the last decade. Increased automation and a depressed economy have put a lot of people in her situation – but how many of the urban poor are stalked by assassins sent by a past they can’t remember? How many of them have to rely on strange skills and muscle memory to survive? Cold Reboot is a cyberpunk thriller audiodrama, and the second season from Burning Brigid Media's Synesthesia Theatre podcast. Set in Chicago in 2025, it tells the story of a woman who can't remember the past decade trying to put her life together in a world of mass unemployment, rampant automation, and cold cold shoulders. Can she succeed, or will the assassins pursuing her end her problems, once and for all?
