On this episode of Noke Wrestling News we talk to Coach Nate Yetzer about local recruiting and all of the high schoolers from the Roanoke Valley that have already committed to wrestling for the Maroons in 2021-22. Along with the recruits, we talk about the relationships built by getting local wrestlers into the program. Also discussed is the polar plunge, the DIII National Tournament, and the status of the Roanoke wrestling room. \r\n

On this episode of Noke Wrestling News we talk to Coach Nate Yetzer along with two recruits from New York, Sawyer Dereszynski and Ethan Palanca. Sawyer and Ethan talk about their unorthodox senior season and their journey through wrestling. Later, we find out the results of the Fall Fund Drive and touch on the Polar Plunge. Earl and Coach Yetzer wrap up the show discussing the cancelation of the 2021 DIII National Tournament. 

Episode six of the Noke Wrestling News podcast features Maroons head coach Nate Yetzer along with three recruits from the Class of 2021, Mac Cafurello, Sean Hall, and Wyatt Sage. All three are in-state products. After getting to know the big three we talk about different ways to support the Roanoke College program and their summer camp series.

Mr. Farmer oversees the facilities for Roanoke College and gives us an insight as to what to expect for the Maroon's competition venue.

Welcome to the Noke Wrestling Podcast! In episode one, we meet Roanoke College head coach Nate Yetzer. Nate has been tabbed as the school's first head coach and the team will begin competition on a limited basis during the 2020-21 season.
