Talking about music with friends

After an early summer hiatus, the boys are back with an episode featuring previous guest Dallin Johnson. We discuss the album Transistor by 3-11 and the merits of the genre blending sound of the band. We also talk about what we've been listening to recently and the recent slate of huge artists coming out with new music this summer. 

Friend of the pod and avid Passionfruit listener Yusuf Mumin joins us once again to discuss Drake's 2017 More Life, a playlist of sorts that served as the soundtrack to different parts of our lives. We also discuss a profile from the Fader on Isaiah Rashad that chronicles the rapper's struggles with fame, how he went broke, and his journey through addiction.

Resident Lorde scholar and world champion girlfriend Jess Nani becomes the first guest to make a reappearance on the show to discuss Lorde's hot and heavy 2017 release Melodrama. We also chat about a slew of upcoming album releases and Billie Eilish's new song and aesthetic.
