Talking Preacher

This is it! The season 3 finale of Preacher titled The Light Above. In this episode we follow our 3 main characters as they each face their own situations. Jesse is going to end his relationship with Grandma with the power of Genesis back in full power. Cassidy is dealing with Eccarius and teaching people how not to be dicks. Tulip has to find her way out of the current situation she is in, which of course is dealing with Nazis. This was an action packed episode that ended an what was the best season yet of Preacher. In episode 9 titled Schwanzkopf, All Father is prepared to put Genesis into the original Humperdoo, Cassidy tries to stop Eccarius. In the meantime Tulip tries to get the souls back from Featherstone who has been taken by death only to find herself in danger. Right now our trio are all on their own in different crazy predicaments. We have people exploding, Humperdoos doing what Humperdoos do, and last but surely not least Genesis is finally back. This of course is all leading up to the season 3 finale.

There is a lot of ground to cover, after a brief hiatus we are back discussing this newest episodes of Preacher, Hilter and The Tom/Brady. Great episodes to talk about back to back, we have Jesse trying to get his soul back only to be confronted with All Father and his crazy plan to make Humperdoo the next mesiah. You have Tulip, Jody, and Featherstone off trying to get enough souls to pay Grandma off so that way Jesse is free of the crazy lady. Then you have Cassidy finding his footing with his new friends and Eccarius. Learning how to do those neat tricks that Eccarius can do is a little more difficult then Cassidy first thought, plus he has Hoover on his tail trying to capture him for leverage. As most of the characters on this Eccarius seems to have a dark side to him. We are discussing this and more on this new episode!

In the newest episode titled Les Enfants du Sang (The Children of Blood) Tulip and Jesse have to find a way to save grandma or risk Tulips soul getting sucked out. Cassidy finds himself among a group of people who follow a vampire named Eccarius, and Starr and All Father sit down for a...meal. This week found a lot of room for some great comedy and we see the return of Eugene aka Arseface as he comes to terms with the events that happened while he was in hell. This gave us a perfect blend of awesome stuff to talk all about, so if you're still reading this then you should go ahead and have a listen and let us know what you think, what questions you have, and where you think we go from here. Only 4 episodes left in the season and I'm sure it's about to get crazy.

In the episode titled The Coffin, Jesse and Tulip find themselves in an interesting predicament. They let Cassidy go and that does not make the people they are staying with very happy, so Jesse ends up at the bottom of the lake in a coffin, a place he's found himself many times before. Tulip is chained to a bed, Cassidy is seeing other people, and Herr Star has his boss breathing down his neck. We are now half way through this season, and are now coming down the back half where things are going to start picking up.

Well folks we are finally at the season finale of season 1 and the episode is titled Call and Response. This of course refering to Jesses phone call to heaven to speak to the lord. In the middle of all this we have Sherrif Root interrogating Cassidy, Jesse finds a strange place to hide out, and Tulip has a present for Jesse when she gets back into town. We had a great time this season watching Cassidy, Jesse, and Tulip find their way through the crazy town. This epidsode titled Finish The song saw Preacher is on the run from the cops and has an angel phone, Cassidy is still a little hungry, and Tulip goes to New Mexico. Of course the title refers to the cowboy wanting the gentleman singing a song to not finish it as he murders everyone in the room. We had a crazy ride as we got introduced to who the cowboy is and what business the angels have with him. We also learned how Jesse plans to call god down on his next Sunday worship. Cassidy and Jesse hide a body, we talk about all this and more on Talking Preacher!

FOOD COURT, FOOD COURT!!! Yes ladies and gentlemen we are sending out the chant that our brave soldiers fighting in the Quinncannon brigade chanted as they marched into battle in Preacher Episode 8 El Valero. This episode saw the focus on Jesse and Odin as they faced down to see who would walk away with the deed to the church. There were some laughs, and sadly poor Clive may never be the same again. We are talking about that and more this episode!

HE GONE! That of course is the title of the newest episode of Preacher. This episode found Jesse wrestling with what happened at the end of last weeks episode. We find out how Jesse is coping with that and it's not very well actually. We also have Cassidy of all people being the moral compass of this group right now. We are here to break it all down, and go in depth with all things pertaining to this episode, we also talk about what the events of this episode may mean for our characters.

We are back after the holiday weekend, if you live in America, with a new episode titled Sundowner. We got some pretty awesome reveals this week, along with an incredible show of the power known as Genesis. Jesse and the angels have a showdown with a formidable enemy. Cassidy tries to talk some since into his friend, and Tulip decides to join in the fun. A lot of awesome stuff happened this episode and we are here discussing it and breaking it down!

Get ready for Talking Preacher, in this episode we are of course breaking down Episode 5: The South will Rise. We have Jesse talking with the towns folk, the angels are trying to avoid a call from headquarters, and Tulip and Cassidy get acquainted. There were some different opinions on this episode, we talk about all that and more!

In the episode titled Monster Swamp, Cassidy and Tulip meet up finally, Jesse sets his plans in motion, and Odin tells the boys no more ruff housing. This weeks episode continues on it's path of Jesse trying to get more people in the church and the lengths he is willing to go to. We also get some interaction from Jesse and Odin that made for a great conversation about just where this show is heading. I'm sure some comic fans have found a lot that made them mad, I for one found some stuff that did bother me. We talk about all that and more on this weeks episode of Talking Preacher.

Cassidy talks with lads from heaven, Jesse and Tulip go on a journey, and Donny has that talk with his kid. We are talking about all this and more in this episode. The episode in question is titled The Possibilities referring to a number of different things in this episode. We see the possibilities of Jesses new found power, Cassidy trying to be a peace broker, and Tulip trying to get the old Jesse back. Here is your next dose of Talking Preacher, as always we are talking about the episode, the characters and where they are going with this show.
