Join me as we kick off season three with Josh Hatton.  Josh and I served together in the MN National Guard and were deployed to Iraq at the same time.  Josh served in B Co. while I was in A Co.   Josh talks about his life as a young man and some of the choices he made that shaped him into the person he is today.  He also talks attending a treatment program that altered his life for the better. Join me as my dear friend Peter "C4" Bang joins mell via remotely from Oslo, Norway.  Peter tells his story of growing up in Norway and being subjected to bullying while living on a small island.  Peter's life changed for the positive when he moved to Oslo, where he lives today.  He talks about his time in the Norwegian military as well as being a Border Control Officer at the Oslo International Airport.

Join me as Eric talks about his life growing up in Minnesota and playing football and hockey.  Eric also talks about his family history of serving in the United States Marine Corps which led him to enlist.  He also talks about his career in law enforcement and his many assignments he has held to date.  Eric is a new found cruise enthusiast and shares his very recent cruise ship experience.  Grab a seat and take a listen as Eric tells his story.

Join me as my good friend and hockey teammate tells his story.  Franky talks about being a young kid and helping build his family cabin.  He also discloses that he was once a school bus driver.  Franky talks about enlisting in the Army and deploying to Afghanistan.  He talks us through being wounded in an IED blast and thinking he was going to die on the battlefield.  We leave you hanging on for more as this is part one of a two part episode.  Take a seat and listen to Franky as he tells his story.

Hello and welcome to season two!  Join me as Fahim Mursal walks us through his life when he lived in Somalia, Kenya and Syria as a young child and teenager.  Fahim also talks about moving to the United States and experiencing snow for the very first.  He takes us along on his two separate journeys to the United Arab Emirates as well.  Have a seat and take a listen to a great story!!

Join me as Mohammed Farah tells his story.  He talks about growing up in Mogadishu, Somalia.  He also talks about his experiences leaving Somalia on September 11th, 2001.  He walks us through his life adjusting to the United States and learning to read and write English upon arriving to high school.  Mohammed discusses his pilgrimage as a Muslim man to Saudi Arabia in 2019.  Grab a seat and take a listen!

Join me as Tim "Cheeseburger/Pete" Hathaway tells his story.  He talks about being a Navy brat as well as life in Anoka, MN.  He also boasts about creating the "Black Lightning" inline skate team.  Tim also talks about what is was like being in the initial invasion into Iraq in 2003.  There is plenty more to it. Join me as Ryan Phillips tells his story.  From moving around frequently as a child to ending up in Hawaii where he calls home.  Ryan shares his life as a career military man and multiple deployments that brought him all over the world.  Ryan has been a friend of mine for over 20 years and it was great learning about his life.  Grab a seat and take a listen.

Join me as Mike tells his story.  He talks about growing up in the small city of Faribault, MN.  He also talks about going to the hospital at a young age for an unknown medical issue where the Priest was called in to give last rights!  Mike also talks us through his tour of duty during the Vietnam War.  Mike gives us an inside look into the restaurant world where he spent many years working his way up the chain of command.  Mike spent 32 years as a police reserve and currently has 39 years under his belt as a volunteer with Twin Cities Public Television.

Join me as Tom tells his story.  From being a St. Paul, MN kid to go attending JROTC at St. Thomas.  Tom let's us in on his life of a very honorable career in the United States Air Force.  Tom flew 320 combat missions during the Vietnam War.  Further in his career, he went on to work with the Joint Chiefs of Staff and briefed officials such as Vice President Mondale, Vice President Cheney, President Reagan, President Bush and Secretary of Defense, Colin Powell.  Buckle up, you DON'T want to miss this one!

Join me as Tony tells his story.  From playing soccer in high school to going to college in Illinois.  He also talks about his reasons for joining the military as well as his experiences while deployed to Iraq.  Tony also gives us an up close and personal glimpse into his battle with COVID-19.  He talks about the onset of COVID-19 to being on a ventilator to the long road to recovery.  Take a listen as Tony Tells His Story.
