Domestic Violence awareness month is officially over, but we have one more story to tell.   Leslie Ross takes over the Air-chair as the host of the show and Ryan is on the sidelines. Leslie talks with Ashley and hears about her story. Leslie calls "bullshit" on the show...but why? Join us and find out. Leslie earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma and her Master of Science (M.S.) in Professional Counseling at Mid-America Christian University. Following graduation, she continued her professional counseling experience obtaining her license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and on to become a certified LPC Supervisor. Leslie specializes in treating trauma and adverse life events along with normal, life struggles such as depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, etc. She strives to alleviate barriers limiting someone from living their best genuine, healthy, and happy life. Leslie utilizes evidence based therapeutic techniques including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. Leslie believes no matter how big it feels, there is nothing in your life you cannot move forward from.  In her spare time, Leslie is a scuba instructor and avid diver.
