The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service sent law enforcement agents to Northwest Alaska after receiving a tip this week that about 25 walruses, including a dozen juveniles, had been shot and beheaded - adn.com Charles Hedrich arrived in the Canadian village of Pond Inlet at about noon Alaska time Thursday after nearly 4,000 miles rowing alone from the Western Alaska village of Wales during a multiyear voyage. - adn.com (Image from northwestpassage2015.blogspot.com, fair use) // Brian Moore sent in this view he had from the beach at Kenai looking across the Cook Inlet at the setting sun behind Mt.
